METHOD FOR DEPICTING AN OBJECT

The invention relates to technologies for visualizing a three-dimensional (3D) image. According to the claimed method, a 3D model is generated, images of an object are produced, a 3D model is visualized, the 3D model together with a reference pattern and also coordinates of texturing portions corresponding to polygons of the 3D model are stored in a depiction device, at least one frame of the image of the object is produced, the object in the frame is identified on the basis of the reference pattern, a matrix of conversion of photo image coordinates into dedicated coordinates is generated, elements of the 3D model are coloured in the colours of the corresponding elements of the image by generating a texture of the image sensing area using the coordinate conversion matrix and data interpolation, with subsequent designation of the texture of the 3D model.

The present invention is designed to allow easy synchronization of the movement of a computer graphics (CG) model with sound data. The data structure according to an embodiment of the present invention presents a data structure that relates to a computer graphics (CG) model, including first time-series information for designating the coordinates of the components of the CG model on a per beat basis, and the first time-series information is used on a computer to process the CG model.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF PERFORMING EYE RECONSTRUCTION USING A PARAMETRIC MODEL

Systems and techniques for reconstructing one or more eyes using a parametric eye model are provided. The systems and techniques may include obtaining one or more input images that include at least one eye. The systems and techniques may further include obtaining a parametric eye model including an eyeball model and an iris model. The systems and techniques may further include determining parameters of the parametric eye model from the one or more input images. The parameters can be determined to fit the parametric eye model to the at least one eye in the one or more input images. The parameters include a control map used by the iris model to synthesize an iris of the at least one eye. The systems and techniques may further include reconstructing the at least one eye using the parametric eye model with the determined parameters.

Removal of identifying traits of a user in a virtual environment

A virtual environment platform may receive, from a user device, a request to access a virtual reality (VR) environment and may verify, based on the request, a user of the user device to allow the user device access to the VR environment. The virtual environment platform may receive, after verifying the user of the user device, user voice input and user handwritten input from the user device. The virtual environment platform may generate processed user speech by processing the user voice input, wherein a characteristic of the processed user speech and a corresponding characteristic of the user voice input are different and may generate formatted user text by processing the user handwritten input, wherein the formatted user text is machine-encoded text. The virtual environment platform may cause the processed user speech to be audibly presented and the formatted user text to be visually presented in the VR environment.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING A 2D FILM FROM IMMERSIVE CONTENT

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can obtain data associated with a computer-based experience. The computer-based experience can be based on interactive real-time technology. At least one virtual camera can be configured within the computer-based experience in a real-time engine. Data associated with an edit cut of the computer-based experience can be obtained based on content captured by the at least one virtual camera. A plurality of shots that correspond to two-dimensional content can be generated from the edit cut of the computer-based experience in the real-time engine. Data associated with a two-dimensional version of the computer-based experience can be generated with the real-time engine based on the plurality of shots. The two-dimensional version can be rendered based on the generated data.

Navigation application with novel declutter mode

Some embodiments provide a navigation application with a novel declutter navigation mode. In some embodiments, the navigation application has a declutter control that when selected, directs the navigation application to simplify a navigation presentation by removing or de-emphasizing non-essential items that are displayed in the navigation presentation. In some embodiments, the declutter control is a mode-selecting control that allows the navigation presentation to toggle between normal first navigation presentation and a simplified second navigation presentation, which below is also referred to as a decluttered navigation presentation. During normal mode operation, the navigation presentation of some embodiments provides (1) a representation of the navigated route, (2) representations of the roads along the navigated route, (3) representation of major and minor roads that intersect or are near the navigated route, and (4) representations of buildings and other objects in the navigated scene. However, in the declutter mode, the navigation presentation of some embodiments provides a representation of the navigated route, while providing a de-emphasized presentation of the roads that intersect the navigated route or are near the navigated route. In some embodiments, the presentation shows the major roads that are not on the route with more emphasis than minor roads not on the route. Also, in some embodiments, the presentation fades out the minor roads not on the route more quickly than fading out the major roads not on the route.
