Method of acquisition and interpretation of images used for commerce items
Image acquisition and interpretation method used for articles of commerce, consisting of one or more gondolas or shelves (A) in which shelves (X) are installed, to which are added four repair marks (B, E) that, in combination with a mobile device with a photographic camera (D), will take and process images in an automated way thanks to areas designed for this purpose (C) where reference marks (F, G) are displayed, correcting the perspective deformation and cutting the image to the area delimited by the repair marks, to then send the processed images to a computer server that can index data such as quantity and details of articles, number of units of each, physical characteristics, prices, etc.
SCANNING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR
An aspect is to provide a scanning device, a system, and a method in which an available communication band is not used up even if a plurality of scanning devices are connected to one unit of dedicated hardware. According to one embodiment, a scanning device includes: a camera configured to pick up an image; a reduction unit configured to reduce a data volume of an image corresponding to a merchandise to be outputted to an image recognition device from the image picked up by the camera; and an output unit configured to output the image with the reduced data volume to the image recognition device.
Method and system for imaging three-dimensional feature
Methods and systems for milling and imaging a sample based on multiple fiducials at different sample depths include forming a first fiducial on a first sample surface at a first sample depth; milling at least a portion of the sample surface to expose a second sample surface at a second sample depth; forming a second fiducial on the second sample surface; and milling at least a portion of the second sample surface to expose a third sample surface including a region of interest (ROI) at a third sample depth. The location of the ROI at the third sample depth relative to the first fiducial may be calculated based on an image of the ROI and the second fiducial as well as relative position between the first fiducial and the second fiducial.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING GLUTEN CONSUMPTION AND PREDICTING ASSOCIATION OF INDISPOSITION TO GLUTEN CONSUMPTION
A system for monitoring gluten consumption, especially in celiac people, which allows the feeding of food consumption data and updating, in real time, of the estimated amount of gluten consumed daily. Still, the present invention refers to a system for prediction that associates the possibility of an indisposition being associated or not with an undue consumption of gluten.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOGNIZING OBJECT
Provided are a method and apparatus for recognizing an object. An object recognition method performed by an object recognition apparatus includes receiving reflected light in which light is reflected by a recognition pattern disposed on an object and passes through a lens, identifying the recognition pattern disposed on the object from the reflected light, and comparing the identified recognition pattern with recognition patterns defined for respective objects and determining an object viewed by a user based on a result of the comparison, wherein the recognition pattern is a pattern in which different colors are arranged adjacently.
PORTABLE TYPE CALENDAR AND NOTEBOOK
In each page of a calendar or a notebook in which a rectangle paper is folded in eight with one side thereof divided into four equal parts and the other side thereof divided into two equal parts and each of front and rear regions of the rectangle paper divided into equal parts by folded lines serves as a page, an identifier which enables specification of the position of the page in the whole rectangle paper is printed. The identifier includes, for example, a combination of alphabets, numerals, and colors. In another embodiment, the identifier is an icon printed at a corner of each page. The icon has a high density portion, and the position of the page with respect to the whole rectangle paper is expressed as the position of the high density portion with respect to the whole icon.
IN-AIR GESTURE CONTROL METHOD BASED ON VISIBLE LIGHT SIGNALS
An in-air gesture control method based on visible light signals, which transmits light signals through a display device and collects its light signals reflected by hand, and after analysis, realizes gesture recognition; the transmitted light signals are in the visible light band; which can realize the gesture recognition and control on mobile devices without modifying hardware and a visible light-based gesture recognition system on commercial mobile devices; compared with the existing gesture recognition methods on commercial mobile devices, the invention avoids special hardware modification, that is, it does not require any additional components on the mobile device, such as a depth camera, and protects the user's privacy well.
METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR POSITION MEASUREMENT OF A PISTON ROD OF A HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
A method for determining the position of a first part moving in relation to a second part in a system, comprising forming a code on a surface of the first part or the second part, yielding an encoded surface; detecting the code on the encoded surface; decoding the code; and determining the position of the moving part from the decoding of the code; the code comprises microstructures at precisely selected positions on the surface of the encoded part; detecting the code comprises scanning the encoded surface with a sensor in conditions selected in relation to the code formed and to the encoded surface to precisely read the code on the encoded surface.
MATERIAL INVENTORY COUNTING METHOD AND APPARATUS, WAREHOUSING ROBOT, AND WAREHOUSING SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a material inventory counting method and apparatus, a warehousing robot, and a warehousing system. The material inventory counting method is applied to the warehousing robot. The method includes: capturing an inventory counting image of a target box through the warehousing robot; and determining an inventory count of a material in the target box according to the inventory counting image. According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure, an inventory counting image of a target box is captured through a warehousing robot, and a count for a material in the target box is determined through image identification on the inventory counting image, to implement in-situ and automatic inventory counting for the material, without the need for cross-zone movement of the box, such that the efficiency of material inventory counting is greatly improved and the cost of inventory counting is lowered.
Systems and methods for providing a shoulder speaker microphone device with an integrated thermal imaging device
Systems (100) and methods (1000) for operating a shoulder Speaker Microphone (“SM”) device coupled to a radio. The methods comprising: using a speaker and a microphone of the shoulder SM device to facilitate auditory communications to and from a user of the radio; activating a thermal imaging device integrated with the shoulder SM device when the shoulder SM device resides at a location of an incident event; capturing thermal images by the thermal imaging device of the shoulder SM device; and performing operations by the shoulder SM device to cause the thermal images to be streamed over a network.
