LOW POWER MACHINE LEARNING USING REAL-TIME CAPTURED REGIONS OF INTEREST

Systems and methods are described for generating image content. The systems and methods may include, in response to receiving a request to cause a sensor of a computing device to identify image content associated with optical data captured by the sensor, detecting a first sensor data stream having a first image resolution, and detecting a second sensor data stream having a second image resolution. The systems and method may also include identifying, by processing circuitry of the computing device, at least one region of interest in the first sensor data stream, determining cropping coordinates that define a first plurality of pixels in the at least one region of interest in the first sensor data stream, and generating a cropped image representing the at least one region of interest.

DYNAMIC CAPTURE PARAMETER PROCESSING FOR LOW POWER

In one general aspect, a method can include capturing, using an image sensor, a first raw image at a first resolution, converting the first raw image to a digitally processed image using an image signal processor, and analyzing at least a portion of the digitally processed image based on a processing condition. The method can include determining that the first resolution does not satisfy the processing condition; and triggering capture of a second raw image at the image sensor at a second resolution greater than the first resolution.

Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for making virtual colored markings on objects. Instructions may include receiving an indication of an object; receiving from an image sensor an image of a hand of an individual holding a physical marking implement; detecting in the image a color associated with the marking implement; receiving from the image sensor image data indicative of movement of a tip of the marking implement and locations of the tip; determining from the image data when the locations of the tip correspond to locations on the object; and generating, in the detected color, virtual markings on the object at the corresponding locations.

TEXT DETECTION METHOD, TEXT RECOGNITION METHOD AND APPARATUS

The present disclosure provides a text detection method, a text recognition method and an apparatus, which relate to the field of artificial intelligence technology, in particular to the field of deep learning and computer vision technologies, and can be applied to scenarios such as optical character recognition. The text detection method is: acquiring an image feature of a text strip in a to-be-recognized image; performing visual enhancement processing on the to-be-recognized image to obtain an enhanced feature map of the to-be-recognized image; comparing the image feature of the text strip with the enhanced feature map for similarity to obtain a target bounding box of the text strip on the enhanced feature map.

Software user assistance through image processing

Software User Assistance (UA) is afforded from captured User Interface (UI) screen images, with reference to persisted Machine Learning (ML) models. The captured screen images are processed—e.g., using rasterization, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and/or establishment of a coordinate system—with individual UI elements being determined therefrom. Referencing the persisted ML models, the software application/application state for the captured image is identified. UA data relevant to that application/application state is generated from the model, and then provided to the user (e.g., in a text box overlying the UI screen). Through the capture and processing of UI screen images, embodiments afford a homogenous UA experience for installation, maintenance, and/or upgrade of heterogeneous members of a larger overall landscape, over software lifecycles. Embodiments may be deployed locally on a frontend computer, in order to avoid exporting UI images due to privacy and/or security concerns.
