Fingerprint Capturing and Matching for Authentication
This disclosure describes techniques for parallel fingerprint capturing and matching, thereby enabling large-area or high-resolution fingerprint identification with low latency. Rather than waiting to capture an entire fingerprint image (“a verify image”), a fingerprint identification process divides the verify image into blocks and attempts to match the blocks to corresponding portions of an enrolled image even as other portions are being. Rather than waiting to capture and analyze the entire fingerprint image at once, small groups of blocks are captured and the already-captured blocks are matched and scored to corresponding blocks of an enrolled image, in some cases, while additional blocks of the verify image are being captured. A cumulative score and cumulative confidence in the overall matching of the enrolled image is derived from the scores and confidences of the individual block scores and the verify image is authenticated based on each satisfying their respective thresholds.

An image capturing apparatus and method, a storage medium, and an electronic equipment are provided. The image capturing apparatus includes: a nonopaque cover plate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other in a thickness direction of the nonopaque cover plate, wherein the first surface of the nonopaque cover plate is opposite to an object to be captured; a light source module having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other in a thickness direction of the light source module, wherein the first surface of the light source module is opposite to the second surface of the nonopaque cover plate; and a sensor module disposed on the second surface of the light source module.
IMAGE SCANNING DEVICE AND IMAGE SCANNING METHOD
The invention provides an image scanning device and an image scanning method. The image scanning device includes: a display that emits red light, green light, and blue light to expose an object when the object contacts the display; the sensor is arranged below the display, and the sensor obtains a first image corresponding to the red light, a second image corresponding to the green light and a third image corresponding to the blue light; and the processing module is coupled to the sensor and the display, and the processing module generates an object image corresponding to the object according to the first image, the second image and the third image.
FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION METHOD, AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
In the fingerprint identification system according to the present disclosure, the fingerprint sensor collects multiple frames of fingerprint images sliding-inputted by a user, the judging unit determines whether, among the multiple frames of fingerprint images, there is a first overlap region between a current frame of fingerprint images and a previous frame of fingerprint images; if yes, the judging unit removes the first overlap region from the current frame of fingerprint images and superposes the previous frame of fingerprint images with the current frame of fingerprint images to form a superposed fingerprint image; the judging unit completes judgment of all the multiple frames of fingerprint images to obtain a template fingerprint image; the processing unit saves characteristic points of the complete template fingerprint image. The fingerprint sensor collects a to-be-identified fingerprint image pressing-inputted by the user, and the processing unit determines whether the characteristic points of the to-be-identified fingerprint image match with the characteristic points of the template fingerprint image. When establishing template fingerprint database, the fingerprint identification system collects the fingerprint sliding-inputted by the user and the to-be-identified fingerprint pressing-inputted by the user in the subsequent matching process. Therefore, the input and identification efficiency is much higher than that of existing methods. The present disclosure also provides a fingerprint identification method and an electric equipment.
CREATION OF VIRTUAL INTERSECTION POINTS ON A TOUCHSCREEN TO PERMIT STATIC, NON SWIPING FINGERPRINT USER AUTHENTICATION
A method for operating a two-dimensional touch array by providing virtual grid intersections. The techniques may be used to improve the array resolution. It may also be used to detect fingerprint ridge and valley detail even when the finger is not moving, and when the array node spacing is much greater than the ridge and valley spacing.
Enrollment Using Synthetic Fingerprint Image and Fingerprint Sensing Systems
A fingerprint sensing system. The fingerprint sensing system includes: at least one sensor; at least one display device; at least one application processor; and at least one secure enclave processor. The application processor(s) receives fingerprint data from the sensor(s) and provides the fingerprint data to the secure enclave processor(s). The secure enclave processor(s) decodes the fingerprint data and provides a signal indicative of at least one matched node. The application processor(s), responsive to receipt of the signal indicative of the matched node(s), presents at least a portion of a synthetic fingerprint image via at least one display device corresponding to the matched node(s).
