Fingerprint Capturing and Matching for Authentication
This disclosure describes techniques for parallel fingerprint capturing and matching, thereby enabling large-area or high-resolution fingerprint identification with low latency. Rather than waiting to capture an entire fingerprint image (“a verify image”), a fingerprint identification process divides the verify image into blocks and attempts to match the blocks to corresponding portions of an enrolled image even as other portions are being. Rather than waiting to capture and analyze the entire fingerprint image at once, small groups of blocks are captured and the already-captured blocks are matched and scored to corresponding blocks of an enrolled image, in some cases, while additional blocks of the verify image are being captured. A cumulative score and cumulative confidence in the overall matching of the enrolled image is derived from the scores and confidences of the individual block scores and the verify image is authenticated based on each satisfying their respective thresholds.
Method and device for monitoring a mobile input device
A method for monitoring a mobile input device with a screen on which information can be displayed in a first pixel raster of image elements and which comprises a flat optical fingerprint reader and a second pixel raster of light-sensitive sensor elements. A fingerprint and fingerprint characteristics, comprising position of the finger on the screen are detected. The sensor elements detect the light intensity incident on them. The intensity levels are assembled into a static pattern of the fingerprint. The combination of the static pattern and the fingerprint characteristics are compared with a database. If the combination is in the database, a check is carried out whether an action is associated with this combination, which is then carried out, or whether no action is associated with this combination, whereupon a first standard action is carried out. If the combination is not stored, a second standard action is carried out.

The invention provides an image scanning device and an image scanning method. The image scanning device includes: a display that emits red light, green light, and blue light to expose an object when the object contacts the display; the sensor is arranged below the display, and the sensor obtains a first image corresponding to the red light, a second image corresponding to the green light and a third image corresponding to the blue light; and the processing module is coupled to the sensor and the display, and the processing module generates an object image corresponding to the object according to the first image, the second image and the third image.

The present disclosure provides an under-screen optical fingerprint identification apparatus and a fingerprint identification method. A method of fingerprint recognition for a fingerprint sensing circuit includes steps of: performing a first fingerprint sensing process including a first exposure operation and a first readout operation under a first light spot setting; and performing a second fingerprint sensing process including a second exposure operation and a second readout operation under a second light spot setting. The method includes: extracting a plurality of to-be-matched feature points from the to-be-identified fingerprint image; performing a first matching between the plurality of to-be-matched feature points and a plurality of template feature points in the template fingerprint image, wherein the first matching includes: identifying true feature points in the plurality of to-be-matched feature points, and determining feature point pairs each of which includes a true feature point and a template feature point corresponding to the true feature point in the template fingerprint image as a first matching result; removing at least one falsely matched feature point pair from the first matching result; and performing a second matching between the to-be-identified fingerprint image and the template fingerprint image based on remaining feature point pairs in the first matching result.
