AUTONOMOUS LIGHT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPERATING AUTONOMOUS LIGHT SYSTEMS
An autonomous light system may comprise a reading light assembly, an object detection device; and a controller. The reading light assembly may include a light source and an actuation system. The controller may be operably coupled to the light source and the object detection device. The controller may include an object detection module and may be configured to receive object data from the object detection device, compare the object data against an object database, identify an object based on the comparison of the object data to the object database, send a first command to at least one of the light source and the actuation system.
BIOMETRIC GALLERY MANAGEMENT USING WIRELESS IDENTIFIERS
Biometric gallery management is performed by association one or more wireless identifiers that correspond to one or more mobile devices (such as smart phones, tablet computing devices, cellular telephones, wearable devices, smart watches, fitness monitors, digital media players, medical devices, and/or other mobile computing devices) that people carry with digital representations of biometrics corresponding to the people. Wireless identifiers corresponding to mobile devices proximate to a biometric reader device may be monitored. Upon detection of wireless identifiers corresponding to mobile devices proximate to the biometric reader device, the associated digital representations of biometrics may be loaded from a main gallery into one or more local galleries, which may then be used to perform one or more biometric identifications and/or verifications.
Display panel and display device
Embodiments of the present invention provide a display panel, including a display region, wherein the display region includes an iris recognition region; the display panel further includes a light conversion layer disposed in the iris recognition region, the light conversion layer is configured to convert visible light incident on the light conversion layer into infrared light, and the infrared light is emitted from a display side of the display panel.
Eye image selection
Systems and methods for eye image set selection, eye image collection, and eye image combination are described. Embodiments of the systems and methods for eye image set selection can include comparing a determined image quality metric with an image quality threshold to identify an eye image passing an image quality threshold, and selecting, from a plurality of eye images, a set of eye images that passes the image quality threshold.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD
The present technology provides a display device capable of appropriately displaying information in a visual field range of a user. The present technology provides a display device including: a display system configured to display information in a visual field range of a user by irradiating a retina of an eyeball with light using an element integrally provided on the eyeball of the user; a detection system configured to detect a change in an orientation and/or a position of the eyeball; and a control system configured to control a display position and/or a display mode of the information in the visual field range on the basis of a detection result in the detection system. According to the present technology, it is possible to provide a display device capable of appropriately displaying information in a visual field range of a user.
HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed are a head mounted display (HMD), and a method for controlling the same. The HMD includes: a body having a display unit; a lens driving unit provided at the body, and configured to move a lens unit spaced apart from the display unit, wherein the lens driving unit includes: a lens frame having a first tube portion protruded in a first direction, and coupled to the body; a lens housing having a second tube portion protruded in the first direction and having the lens unit, the second tube portion relatively moved on the first tube portion; a link unit coupled to the lens frame and the lens housing, and configured to move the lens housing; and a driving unit provided at one side of the first tube portion, and configured to operate the link unit.
Method and apparatus of active identity verification based on gaze path analysis
Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for active identification based on gaze path analysis. The method may include extracting the face image of a user, extracting the gaze path of the user based on the face image, verifying the identity of the user based on the gaze path, and determining whether the face image is authentic.
IRIS AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND DEVICE USING DISPLAY INFORMATION
An electronic device for performing iris authentication, according to various examples of the present invention, can comprise: an image sensor for outputting an image obtained by photographing an eye part; a display for displaying an iris authentication screen image; and a control unit detecting at least a partial region from the captured eye part image so as to perform iris authentication by adjusting display characteristics of the display on the basis of a result obtained by comparing the size of the detected region with the size of a region required for the iris authentication, and various examples are possible.
MECHANISM TO CREATE PATTERN GESTURE TRANSMISSIONS TO CREATE DEVICE-SOURCING EMERGENCY INFORMATION
A system may comprise a registration device configured to register patterns for users; a recording device configured to record a received pattern, as an electronic pattern, wherein the recording device recognizes the received pattern as one of the registered patterns; a receiving device configured to observe human movement patterns with a camera, transform the observed human movement patterns to an electronic signal, and receive the recognized registered pattern from the recording device by a first wireless transmission; a forwarding device configured to transmit the electronic signal, and the received recognized registered pattern to an alert service by a second wireless transmission; and an alert service, configured to receive the electronic signal and the received recognized registered pattern from the forwarding device and configured to transmit the electronic signal and the received recognized registered pattern to a second electronic device by a third wireless transmission.
