USING BIOMETRIC DATA INTELLIGENCE FOR EDUCATION MANAGEMENT
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for developing cognitive and behavioral metrics associated with a user. In some implementations, a system obtains data from a writing implement, the data indicative of a user performing a task by writing with the writing implement against a receiving device. The system extracts features from the obtained data. The system determines metrics that reflect characteristics of the user, the metrics that reflect cognitive characteristics of the user and metrics that reflect behavioral characteristics of the user. Based on the extracted features and the determined metrics, the system generates a user profile for the user. Based on the features indicating characteristics of the writing behavior of the user, the system modifies the generated user profile as a performance of the user changes over time. The system provides recommendations to improve the performance of the user.
Methods and systems for signature verification
A method and system of signature verification that includes receiving a signature-in-question, extracting at least one of an image of the signature-in-question and a trajectory of the signature-in-question from the received signature-in-question, accessing a reference signature, extracting at least one of a reference image and a reference trajectory from the accessed reference signature, comparing the at least one of the image of the signature-in-question and trajectory of the signature-in-question to the at least one of the reference image and reference trajectory, and determining whether signature-in-question is authentic based on the comparison.
AUGMENTED SIGNATURE AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Provided are an augmented handwritten signature authentication method and an electronic device supporting the same, the method including: receiving a primary touch input corresponding to a primary handwritten signature input of a user; receiving, after the primary handwritten signature input is received and a specified time period elapses, a secondary mark input of the user; obtaining primary touch position data corresponding to the primary touch input, and the secondary mark input; and performing user authentication by comparing the primary touch position data corresponding to the primary touch input and secondary touch position data related to at least part of the secondary mark input with prestored primary touch registration data and secondary touch registration data, respectively.

Coordinate input processing apparatus, emotion estimation apparatus, emotion estimation system, and building apparatus for building emotion estimation-oriented database
A coordinate input processing apparatus includes a position detection apparatus and a communication circuit. The position detection apparatus includes a sensor which detects a position pointed to by an electronic pen, and circuitry which acquires pen state information regarding a state of the electronic pen held by a person. The communication circuit transmits to an emotion estimation apparatus coordinates corresponding to the position pointed to by the electronic pen and the pen state information in an emotional state estimation request, and receives from the emotion estimation apparatus the coordinates corresponding to the position pointed to by the electronic pen, the pen state information included in the emotional state estimation request, and the information regarding the distracted state of the person holding the electronic pen in an emotional state estimation response having the same format as the emotional state estimation request.
AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING A USER USING BIOMETRICS AND DIGITIZED HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE
An authentication method is provided for authenticating a user using biometrics and digitized handwritten signature. A user uses a biometric stylus and a handwriting input device to create a handwriting pattern, where the biometric stylus acquires fingerprint data of the user. The handwriting input device transmits the fingerprint data and the handwriting pattern to a verification server. The verification server verifies the handwriting pattern and the fingerprint data, and obtains user identification data for verifying an identity of the user when the handwriting pattern and the fingerprint data are successfully verified.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at an electronic device, a handwriting input operation by a user; acquiring, using a processor, a first input feature information associated with the handwriting input operation; and generating, using a processor, an index based on the first input feature information. Other aspects are described and claimed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE USE OF A SIGNATURE MACHINE TO CREATE A REMOTE ORIGINAL SIGNATURE
A system and method for remotely generating an original signature provided by a signatory as a user of a first mobile device are disclosed. According to one embodiment, the system comprises a cloud server having a signature transmission API, and a video stream module configured to facilitate a live video stream. The system further includes a pen plotter having a plotter controller communicatively coupled to the cloud server by the signature transmission API. The pen plotter has a mechanical arm configured to receive an ink pen, and a video capture device communicatively coupled to the video stream module of the cloud server and configured to capture video of the pen plotter and transmit to the video stream module.
Coordinate input processing apparatus, emotion estimation apparatus, emotion estimation system, and building apparatus for building emotion estimation-oriented database
A position detection apparatus includes a sensor that detects a position pointed to by an electronic pen and circuitry that acquires pen state information regarding the electronic pen held by a person; a transmitter that transmits to an emotion estimation apparatus an emotional state estimation request including the acquired pen state information, the emotion estimation apparatus including a database that stores information regarding an emotional state of the person holding the electronic pen and range information regarding a range of values that may be taken by the pen state information regarding the electronic pen, the emotional state and the range information being associated with one another; and a processor that receives information corresponding to the emotional state transmitted from the emotion estimation apparatus in response to the pen state information included in the transmitted emotional state estimation request, and performs processing using the received information corresponding to the emotional state.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND WRITING APPARATUS FOR RECORDING USER BIOMETRIC INFORMATION DIRECTLY ONTO DOCUMENTS
A system, method and writing apparatus disclosed herein enables a physical handwritten mark (such as “wet” signature) to be encoded with user biometric characteristics which are unique to the person making the handwritten mark. A system and method are described that may utilize a signature created by the writing apparatus.
