Lottery Ticket Dispensing Method and System with Additional Purchase Recommendation Capability
A lottery ticket dispensing method provides different types of lottery tickets in a jurisdiction and includes providing first lottery tickets for sale from a dispenser for a first type of lottery game. Upon a player making a selection of one of the first lottery tickets for purchase, a controller in communication with the dispenser determines whether one or more other lottery games are available for play within the jurisdiction. The method assigns one or more companion games from the available other lottery games based on the player's selection of the first lottery ticket and predefined filter values. The companion games are presented to the player as a suggestion or recommendation for an additional lottery ticket purchase. Upon the player selecting one of the companion games for purchase, the additional lottery ticket is provided to the player from the dispenser.
Business method for a financial instruments lottery implemented in software or hardware
The disclosure describes a software-implemented method for an easy-to-use interface for processing financial transactions. Described is a graphical user interface having the look-and-feel of a lottery ticket. Additionally, the way this user interface is used to create a list of financial transactions and their sequentially processing by a computer is defined.
RAFFLE DEVICE
A device used in marketing contests, particularly for the drawing of tickets which are put into a rotating raffle drum (G), and whose main purpose is to provide a dynamic and automated device that, advantageously, allows feeding of tickets even when the rotating drum is moving, enables constant and uniform shuffling of said tickets, thus ensuring randomness of the drawing with greater safety and ease and, at the same time, provides public entertainment. Said raffle device (E) comprises a rotating raffle drum (G), a stand (S), a rotation mechanism (R), a ticket feeding device (D), a compressed air power unit (C) and a power, command and control board (Q), including an electronic control unit (not depicted) such as a PLC. Device (E) may further comprise a ticket swirling mechanism (T) interconnected to a compressed air power unit (C) and a lighting system (not depicted) conveniently associated with the rotating drum (G).
BUSINESS METHOD FOR A FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS LOTTERY IMPLEMENTED IN SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE
Aspects of this disclosure relate to the financial industry. A lottery business method based on financial instruments is presented. The lottery hereby is not a game of change because the high win opportunity is realized through sequential or parallel processing of financial instruments or transactions chosen by customers in tickets. Several representations of tickets were shown as well as the complete process of this method. For this method, a technical implementation of the process by a group of internet servers is described. Due to the fact that most people play lottery with physical lottery ticket machines, a lottery ticket machine is described which implements the business method and the technical process.
VOTING METHOD AND DEVICE AND BALLOT SHEET
The voting method (30) comprises: a step (32) of a voter selecting a candidate or a proposition put to a vote, using an interface of a terminal (11); a step (34) of the terminal writing information representative of the choice made by the voter to the memory (25) of a ballot sheet, a step (35) of printing (22) the choice made by the voter on the surface of the ballot sheet, a step (36) of dispensing the printed ballot sheet (20) to be slid into a ballot box (15), a step (38, 39) of inserting the ballot sheet into the ballot box, a step (40) of the ballot box (15) reading the memory of the ballot sheet, a step (42) of storing the numbers of ballots expressing the various possible choices, a step (33) of the terminal determining a unique code, unique for at least the ongoing ballot, independent of the identity of the voter, of the order of arrival of the voter or of any document that may have been issued prior to the time when the ballot sheet was issued, and a step (34) of writing the indeterminable code to the memory of the ballot sheet.
Using middleware for generating vector graphics imaged security documents
A method is provided of digitally imaging a secure portion and a non-secure portion of scratch-off-coating protected documents of at least one game using middleware. The method includes: (a) generating the secure variable indicia in non-vector raster format; (b) generating vector graphics to be imaged on physical document locations; (c) assigning the secure variable indicia in a non-vector raster format to documents in and shuffling the documents throughout a print run; and (d) linking via middleware the secure variable indicia in the non-vector raster format to associated vector graphics variable indicia to be digitally imaged on the documents and to generate vector graphics-formatted data for each document in the print run. The secure variable indicia assignment and shuffling are executed by non-vector raster game generation software output that is reinterpreted by the middleware to produce related vector graphic output for the secure variable indicia.
Instant game ticket with sticker enhancement
An instant lottery scratch ticket and method of playing a lottery instant scratch ticket game comprises a plurality of physical tickets, wherein each ticket provides a removable sticker that may provide wins or enhanced wins.
DISTRIBUTED PLATFORM FOR PROCESSING CONCURRENT, THREAD-SAFE REQUESTS
Aspects described herein relate to queuing and processing ticket objects associated with combinations of numbers to enforce a process of elimination for a ticket event. A ticket array for a ticket event may be generated. The ticket array may comprise a plurality of combinations of numbers consisting of combinations of unprocessed numbers and combinations of processed numbers. A ticket object associated with the ticket event may be received from a client computing device. The ticket object may comprise a combination of selected numbers that are added to a ticket queue. There may be a determination of whether the ticket object meets ticket criteria. In response to the ticket object meeting at least one of the ticket criteria, the ticket object may be processed. A notification may be generated after the ticket object has been processed. Furthermore, the notification may be sent to the client computing device.
Method, module and apparatus for dispensing lottery tickets
The invention relates to a module (100) for dispensing tickets, comprising: a chassis (1) holding a plurality of cassettes (3) each comprising a housing for housing a book of tickets and a dispensing mechanism, and a movable robot (2) configured to be selectively coupled with one of the cassettes (3). The robot comprises: an actuator (21) for extracting a terminal portion of the book by actuating the dispensing mechanism of the cassette, and a reception device receiving this terminal portion. The reception device and the dispensing mechanism are jointly configured to align a separation line of the terminal portion of the book with a separating device, and/or to tension said terminal portion in order to allow the ticket to be separated by the separating device.
