Lock system including automation notification and surveillance integration
The present disclosure provides a lock system including automated notification and surveillance integration. In the lock system of the present disclosure, when any of the locks included in the lock system are locked or unlocked, a notification or communication signal is sent to at least one other device. The at least one other device may be a receiver, smart phone, smart watch, laptop, desktop, and/or an Internet connected or Internet of Things (IoT) device. In one aspect, the at least one other device is an image capturing device that captures one or more images of the lock that has been locked or unlocked and the surrounding area the lock is disposed in responsive to the notification or communication signal sent. The lock system of the present disclosure is configured for use with electronic locks, mechanical locks, and/or hybrid electronic-mechanical locks.
Pairable secure-access facilities
Systems and methods are provided for providing access to secure-access facilities based on pairing of the secure-access facilities with a user device such as a wearable device. A pairable secure-access facility may be a public storage facility or device such as a locker that includes communications circuitry for pairing with the user device. Once paired with the user device, the locker may operate a locking mechanism to lock the locker when the user device is away from the locker and to unlock the locker when the user device is in the vicinity of the locker. The locker may include a beacon for detecting and pairing with the user devices. Pairing the user device and the locker may include entering a locker identifier into the user device to ensure that the intended user device is paired with the intended locker.
IN-FIELD ENCODING OF ACCESS CREDENTIALS
A method and system for in-field encoding of credentials to a credential device. An example method comprises receiving a request to at least one of add or update credentials to a credential device; providing an invitation code for an in-field device, the in-field device being separate from the credential device; receiving, from the in-field device, the invitation code along with information from the credential device for establishing a secure communication channel with the credential device; establishing a secure communication channel with the credential device using the in-field device as an intermediate; generating one or more commands for encoding credentials to the credential device based on the request; and sending the one or more commands, via the secure communication channel using the in-field device as an intermediate, to the credential device.
Binding device with embedded smart key and method for controlling object using the same
Provided is a binding device and method of operation of the binding device, with the binding device including a strap including a body, a first area formed inside the body, with a smart key related control circuit disposed in the first area, and a second area formed on one side of the body, with a battery for supplying electric power for operating the smart key related control circuit seated on the second area such that at least a portion of the battery is exposed, and a cover formed to cover the second area.
Bracelet with clock and remote key fob
A fashionable bracelet operates as a remote car key fob and a clock. The bracelet provides multiple buttons allowing a user to operate the bracelet to control access to the vehicle coupled to the bracelet. The bracelet receives voice commands to operate the vehicle. Moreover, the bracelet incorporates a GPS subsystem for auto-piloting the vehicle to the location of the user. The bracelet further incorporates multiple LEDs to provide operational feedback to the user. The clock can be turned on and off using one of the buttons. The wireless key fob functions and the clock are controlled by a microcontroller disposed within the bracelet. The bracelet includes a battery to provide power to various components of the bracelet. The battery is operatively coupled to a solar panel. The bracelet is conveniently and securely attached to the wrist of the user.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING KEY
Disclosed are various embodiments relating to an electronic device that includes a key An electronic device may include a housing having a through-hole formed therein. A key may be exposed through the through-hole and configured to be pressed. A key switch may be located on a rear surface of the key, wherein the key structure may be configured to enable the key to be pressed and to detect the press of the key. Moreover, a structure provided on a lower portion of the housing may be able to bear a pressure exerted by a user when pressing the key in a direction opposite the housing. Further, a dummy detachably provided between the housing and the structure, wherein the dummy, when being attached, may support the key and the key switch such that both are capable of being pressed in the through-hole toward the direction of the structure.
Electronic vehicle security system devoid of lock cylinders
