A control and information system is for a lavatory of an aircraft, where the lavatory has a door. The system contains a door actuator for opening and closing, a lock actuator for locking and unlocking the door, a control device for controlling the door actuator and the lock actuator, a human-machine interface for actuating the door by a user, as well as a communication interface for exchanging information between an authorized entity and the control device. The lavatory contains a wall structure supporting the door, and the control and information system. A user controls the door via the human-machine interface. Information about the communication interface is exchanged between the control device and the authorized entity.

A vehicle setting system includes an occupant data acquisition processor, a server apparatus including a provisional generation processor, a provisional acquisition processor, and a setting processor. The occupant data acquisition processor acquires or estimates physical data regarding an occupant on board the vehicle, at least in a case with absence of a setting value for the occupant held in a vehicle memory of a vehicle. A building system, such as an elevator system, a physical access control system, or a combined elevator and physical access control system, has a controller system to control the building system to perform a building action, and a credential acquisition unit to acquire a credential presented by a user. The building system includes a camera system having a thermographic camera, which generates an infrared image of a face of the user, and an image processing system. The image processing system processes the infrared image to determine if the user's face shows a temperature value that is higher than a set threshold temperature value. The controller system enables or disables the building action as a function of the acquired user credential and the result signal.

Systems and methods for location identification and tracking of a person, object and/or vehicle. The methods involve: obtaining, by a computing system, a video of a surrounding environment which was captured by a portable camera coupled to the person, object or vehicle; comparing, by the computing system, first images of the video to pre-stored second images to identify geographic locations where the first images were captured by the portable camera; analyzing, by the computing system, the identified geographic locations to verify that the person, object or vehicle is (1) traveling along a correct path, (2) traveling towards a facility for which the person, object or vehicle has authorization to enter, or (3) traveling towards a zone or secured area internal or external to the facility for which the person, object or vehicle has authorization to enter; and transmitting a notification from the computing system indicating the results of the analyzing.

A first authentication process unit and a second authentication process unit of an ECU constituting a system respectively perform a first authentication process and a second authentication process for comparing authentication information acquired from a maintenance operator terminal and a user terminal, and first authentication information of a first authentication information registration unit and second authentication information of a second authentication information registration unit. A secure element (SE) for processing a digital key includes a communication interface for communicating with a host, a memory for storing programs and data for processing the digital key, and a processor for executing the programs stored in the memory to receive a digital key processing request from a target device, determine whether a service is providable to the target device, by using a service-provider-specific service performance manager, process the digital key by using a digital key manager based on digital key processing information stored in the memory, upon determining that a service is providable to the target device, issue a digital key processing certificate by using the service-provider-specific service performance manager based on authentication information stored in the memory, and transmit the digital key processing certificate to at least one of a service provider and the target device.

An access control system and a method performed therein, for handling access to an access-restricted physical resource. The method comprises, by means of a first credential reader, receiving an initiating access request credential initiating a request to give one or more visitors access to a first access-restricted physical resource. The method further comprises, by means of the first credential reader, receiving a visitor credential for each visitor for which access is requested, and, by means of a second credential reader, receiving a finalising access request credential finalising the request to give the one or more visitors access. Furthermore, the method comprises, by means of a first resource controller, allowing a visitor to access the first access-restricted physical resource upon presenting the visitor's visitor credential to the first credential reader.

According to a first aspect, it is provided a method for providing access to a lock for provision of a service. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a request for access to the lock; sending a consumer request to a service consumer device, asking whether to grant access to the lock; receiving a positive consumer response from the service consumer device; determining validity time for a grant token; obtaining a grant token for the service provider, the grant token having the determined validity time; providing the grant token to the service provider; deleting the grant token in the access coordination server; receiving an agent request for access to the lock for a specific service provider agent device, the agent request comprising the grant token; obtaining a credential for the service provider agent device; and providing the credential to the service provider agent device.

A device for registering and authenticating a user device for vehicle control includes: a communication unit connected to the user device to receive an authentication request from the user device; an interface configured to communicatively connect with at least one antenna included in the vehicle and communicating with a FOB of the vehicle; and a processor configured to detect whether the user device is registered based on at least one of user information and device information included in the received authentication request, to detect whether a user of the user device has the FOB by using the at least one antenna, and to control a registration process of the user device which is set differently depending on whether the user has the FOB when the user device is not registered.
