An information management system includes a reception device including a camera that images a face of a participant, and an information management apparatus. The information management apparatus issues a digital key assigned for each participant independently of personal information of the participant and transmits the digital key to the reception device. In a case where the reception device outputs an ID image of the participant, the information management apparatus acquires a face image from the reception device and stores the face image and the digital key in a database in association with each other. In a case where information including the digital key is received from a reading device installed in an event venue, the information management apparatus stores the received information in the database in association with the digital key as behavior information representing a behavior of the participant in the event venue.

Systems and methods are provided for processing and extracting content from an image captured using a mobile device. In one embodiment, an image is captured by a mobile device and corrected to improve the quality of the image. The corrected image is then further processed by adjusting the image, identifying the format and layout of the document, binarizing the image and extracting the content using optical character recognition (OCR). Multiple methods of image adjusting may be implemented to accurately assess features of the document, and a secondary layout identification process may be performed to ensure that the content being extracted is properly classified.

A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform one or more processors and perform: transmitting an invitation to a mobile application on a mobile device of a user, wherein the invitation authorizes the mobile application on the mobile device to be used to check-in to a facility; generating, by a visitor application, an image that is displayed on a kiosk at an entrance of the facility; receiving, from the mobile device, image data of the image, as scanned by the mobile application from the kiosk, and mobile application data; validating whether the mobile application data and the image data satisfy one or more criteria; and when the one or more criteria are satisfied, authorizing the user to access the facility. Techniques for managing access to a physical area are provided. In one technique, first data is extracted from a digital file. Based on identification data within the first data, a database is searched. A data item in the database is identified that matches the identification data. The first data is associated with the data item. After associating the first data with the data item, code data is generated. Encoded data that encodes the code data is then generated. The encoded data is sent over a computer network to a mobile device, or an account, of a user that is associated with the data item.

A system for health screening and access to a facility comprises a computer server and a plurality of stations. The computer server and/or each station are configured to: receive input from a touch screen indicating one of a plurality of entrant types, the input being initiated by an individual; receive identification information from a badge scanner; receive a temperature value from a temperature scanner; if the temperature value is above a normal threshold, send a notification to facility staff; if the temperature value is within a normal range, display wellness attestation questions and receive wellness attestation answers; if any wellness attestation answer is adverse, send the notification; if no wellness attestation answer is adverse, for employees, display a question inquiring if the employee needs an item of personal protective equipment (PPE) and receive a PPE answer, and for non-employees, print a label that includes identification information about the individual.

A Personal Identity Verification System for verifying the identity of an individual (600) carrying a wireless mobile communications device (400) is proposed, comprising image data of an area of the individual's body, said image data being stored in the wireless mobile communications device (400), at least one image capture device (100) configured to capture visual data of an area of the individual's body and at least one wireless communications module (200) configured to receive the image data from the wireless mobile communications device (400). Further, an electronic circuit (300) is provided that is configured to compare the visual data with the image data and to generate positive verification information when the visual data and the image data are established to be similar within a similarity-tolerance.

A first processor is configured to acquire a first facial image of the user; extract first facial feature information from the first facial image; generate an authentication code representing the first facial feature information; and cause a printer to print the authentication code and a display facial image of the user on a card medium to create the ID card, and a second processor is configured to acquire the authentication code printed on the ID card possessed by the user and a second facial image of the user; decode the first facial feature information from the authentication code; extract second facial feature information from the second facial image using the same algorithm as used in a case of extracting the first facial feature information from the first facial image; collate the first facial feature information with the second facial feature information; and perform the determination based on a collation result.

This application relates to a boarding pass processing device. In one aspect, the device includes a communication unit for communicating with a central server and a boarding pass recognition unit for recognizing a boarding pass held by a passenger. The device may also include a boarding processing unit for, if procedure information relating to whether a passenger holding a boarding pass recognized by the boarding pass recognition unit has gone through a procedure required for boarding an airplane is obtained from the central server through the communication unit, processing whether or not the passenger holding the recognized boarding pass has boarded the airplane, on the basis of the obtained procedure information.

This application relates to a boarding pass processing device. In one aspect, the device includes a communication unit for communicating with a central server and a boarding pass recognition unit for recognizing a boarding pass held by a passenger. The device may also include a boarding processing unit for, if procedure information relating to whether a passenger holding a boarding pass recognized by the boarding pass recognition unit has gone through a procedure required for boarding an airplane is obtained from the central server through the communication unit, processing whether or not the passenger holding the recognized boarding pass has boarded the airplane, on the basis of the obtained procedure information.
