Ignition-based protocols for pellet grills
Pellet grills including a control system that implements, manages, and/or controls various ignition-based protocols and/or processes are disclosed. An example pellet grill includes a cooking chamber, a burn pot, an ignitor, and a controller. The ignitor extends into the burn pot and is configured to ignite pellet fuel located within the burn pot. The controller is configured to command the ignitor to activate during a first duration. The controller is further configured to determine, following expiration of the first duration, whether a temperature of the cooking chamber has reached a threshold temperature. The controller is further configured, in response to determining that the temperature has not reached the threshold temperature, to command the ignitor to activate during a second duration.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRACKING A PRODUCT PROCESSING LINE
A method for the real-time tracking of a processing line (1) comprising a series of product processing stations (2), and a plurality of accumulators (3) between said stations (2), said method comprising monitoring, in real time, the operation of the processing line (1), and reporting on said operation on a display means (5). The method is characterised by a step essentially consisting of calculating a duration for a processing station (2), said duration being calculated additively from the accumulation time (TA) represented by the instantaneous state of the accumulator (3) or of each accumulator (3) present between said station (2) and another predefined station (2) of the processing line (1), referred to as the reference station (4), and by a step essentially consisting of displaying said duration on a display means (5). The invention also concerns a suitable device. It is applicable, in particular, to multi-station bottle and flask packaging lines.

METHOD FOR PROTECTING A NONMOBILE WORK MACHINE DRIVEN BY AN ELECTRIC MOTOR, AND NONMOBILE WORK MACHINE DRIVEN BY AN ELECTRIC MOTOR
A method for protecting a nonmobile work machine driven by an electric motor includes determining, via a measuring unit, at least one measured value of a time-critical parameter of the work machine. The work machine is switched off when the determined measured value of the time-critical parameter is outside a predefined setpoint range. The determined measured value of the time-critical parameter is quantized in a level signal and transmitted as a first signal to an evaluation unit via an interface, and a second signal for further information concerning the work machine, to be transmitted from the measuring unit to the evaluation unit, is modulated to the first signal.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING DATA FROM MANUFACTURING DATA ORIGINATORS TO TARGET COMPUTING SYSTEMS USING DEFINED MESSAGE SCHEMAS
A method of transmitting data from a manufacturing data originator at a manufacturing facility to a target computing system includes acquiring data indicative of an operation of the manufacturing data originator and associating the data acquired to one or more fields among a plurality of fields of a predefined message schema for a designated message type among a plurality of message types. The method further includes populating values of the fields of the predefined message schema of the designated message type based on the data associated with the fields and on message control data, where the message control data includes a facility identification, a data originator identification, a schema version identifier, or a combination thereof. The method further includes generating a message data string based on the populated fields of the predefined message schema and transmitting the message data string to the target computing system.

METHOD FOR THE AUTOMATIC MONITORING OF AN ELECTROTECHNICAL WORK FLOW, AND CORRESPONDING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a method for the automatic monitoring of an electrotechnical work flow and to a corresponding device. The method comprises the following steps: establishing (S0) a first bidirectional communications link (F1) between a mobile communications unit (1) and a mobile voltmeter (10); starting (S1) a work step sequence program on a mobile communications unit (1) by means of an input device (1b) of the mobile communications unit (1); outputting (S2) a work step instruction (A) to disconnect a live electronic component (K1) in order to effect an absence of voltage at the electronic component (K1) on an outputting device (1a) of the mobile communications unit (1) by the work step sequence program; automatically or manually confirming (S3) the disconnection of the electronic component (K1) at the mobile communications unit (1); following the confirmation (S3) of the disconnection of the electronic component (K1), outputting (S4) a work step instruction (A) to check the absence of voltage at the electronic component (K1) by means of the mobile voltmeter (10) on the outputting device (1a) of the mobile communications unit (1) by the work step sequence program; checking (S5) the absence of voltage at the electronic component (K1) by means of the mobile voltmeter (10); communicating (S6) the result of the check from the mobile voltmeter (10) to the mobile communications unit (1); if the result of the check indicates an absence of voltage, automatically confirming (S8) the check of the absence of voltage from the electronic component (K1) by outputting a confirmation signal by the mobile communications unit (1); if the result of the check does not indicate an absence of voltage, outputting (S9a) a first alarm signal by the mobile communications device (1).
