Pairable secure-access facilities
Systems and methods are provided for providing access to secure-access facilities based on pairing of the secure-access facilities with a user device such as a wearable device. A pairable secure-access facility may be a public storage facility or device such as a locker that includes communications circuitry for pairing with the user device. Once paired with the user device, the locker may operate a locking mechanism to lock the locker when the user device is away from the locker and to unlock the locker when the user device is in the vicinity of the locker. The locker may include a beacon for detecting and pairing with the user devices. Pairing the user device and the locker may include entering a locker identifier into the user device to ensure that the intended user device is paired with the intended locker.
LOCK AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
A method for operating a lock. A wireless command is received from a trusted device in a proximity range of the lock to enable a proximity mode. The proximity range is selectable by a user of the trusted device via an application. The proximity mode is enabled, and while enabled, a command is received to activate or deactivate the lock. The lock is activated or deactivated in response to the received activating or deactivating command.
AUTHORIZATION SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATED FEATURE OF SUPPORT APPARATUS
An authorization system for a medical facility includes a support apparatus having a pneumatic system and a control panel coupled to the support apparatus. The control panel includes a display. The authorization system also includes a control unit communicatively coupled to the control panel. The control unit is configured to receive settings information for a continuous rotation function of the pneumatic system, seek authorization for at least one of enabling and activating the continuous rotation function via at least one of a key code and a multi-step authorization process via the display, activate the pneumatic system in a preview mode to adjust the pneumatic system through a single cycle of the continuous rotation function in response to receiving authorization, and activate the pneumatic system in an active mode for providing the continuous rotation function for a predefined period of time in response to receiving the authorization.
Self-Serve Kiosk
Aspects of the present disclosure include a self-serve kiosk with a door that allows access to products inside the kiosk. A bar is disposed on the door and contains a user interface that allows the user to purchase products. The bar also includes a handle that the user can grasp to open and close the door. The bar can rotate with respect to the door into an access position that improves maintenance access to the user interface and related components. In aspects, the bar and related components improve integration of self-serve functionality into existing product storage devices.
MULTI-FACTOR SAFE LOCK
A multi-factor safe locking system for use in firearm storage, wherein the factors comprise a user's provided key, a user's biometric data, and a user's provided code. In some embodiments, the multi-factor safe locking system requires the near-simultaneous entry of two users, or dual consent of the two users to enter at least two unique keys, at least one form of biometric data from each user, and at least two unique codes, wherein each user supplies their own unique code to access the safe's contents. In further embodiments, a safe locking system includes a further factor of a result from a blood alcohol test.
ELECTRONIC KEYS FOR ELECTRONIC LOCKS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates a set of electronic keys for an electronic lock. The set of electronic keys includes at least one passive electronic key having a passive digital key, and at least one active electronic key having an active digital key. Each of passive and active electronic keys includes a communication channel and an electronic key power supply port. The active electronic key includes electrical power source providing electrical power supply to the active electronic key itself, the electronic lock and the passive electronic key through the electronic lock to operate the electronic lock. When both active and passive electronic keys are inserted into respective electronic keyholes of the electronic lock, both active and passive digital keys are transmitted to the electronic lock, the electronic lock can be locked and unlocked only when both active and passive digital keys received match prestored active and passive digital keys respectively.
Access Control Smart System
The invention is a device, system, and method for access control, including a combination of access control, live video communication, interactive virtual host, internal compound mapping, digital couponing, vacancy information, security system, maintenance requests, and administrative tracking and control.
ID card identification device (ICID)
A system for an ID card identification prevents unauthorized entry to a venue by comparing ID card data for validity and internal matching of a person to a photo on an ID card. The system includes an identification card offered by an individual seeking entry; wherein the identification card includes a photograph of the individual the card is assigned to. An electronic device having a camera thereon takes a photograph of the photograph on the identification card. The electronic device takes a picture of individual offering the identification card for access to the venue. The electronic device verifies the authenticity of the identification card. The electronic device having circuitry and software which determines a match, low match or no match between the individual in the photograph on the identification card and the photograph of the individual presenting the identification card, for entry into the venue.
Intelligent secure keypad keyless transmitter
The present invention is directed to intelligent secure keyless keypad transmitter entry system mounted outside property integrated into an existing motorized garage door opening system or any motorized gate system for secure entry and package delivery using a barcode scanner. The invention uses package tracking codes stored in advance to open a door or gate with a delivery notification to the owner. Motion detection and facial recognition biometric cameras allow invited persons to enter property. The camera and microphone/speaker allow video communication via external devices. The keypad may be used in conjunction with the LED screen to program the console device with temporary or permanent PIN codes for entry code allowing owners to verify access and exit of service providers. The console device offers complete remote control of device functions and all activity on the device to be transmitted electronically to the owner's mobile device.
Vehicular control device
A vehicular control device includes: a transmitter section that transmits a request signal to an electronic key according to an input operation; a receiver section that receives a response signal from the electronic key; a verification section that performs verification of the electronic key on the basis of the response signal; a determination section that determines that an abnormal state occurs, when the receiver section cannot receive the response signal until a first time or when the receiver section receives the response signal until the first time and the verification section fails in verification based on the response signal, after the transmitter section has transmitted the request signal; and a control section that prohibits, when the determination section determines that an abnormal state occurs, a vehicle operation until a second time passes after the determination, and allows the vehicle operation after the second time has passed.
