Co-signing delegations
11580806 · 2023-02-14 · ·

It is provided a method for controlling access to a physical space using a co-sign delegation. The method is performed in a lock device and comprises the steps of: receiving an access request from an electronic key; obtaining a plurality of delegations, wherein each delegation is a delegation from a delegator to a delegatee, the plurality of delegations collectively forming a chain of delegations; determining that a delegation is a co-sign delegation, indicating that all further delegations need to be cryptographically signed by both the delegator of the respective delegation and by an access controller; and granting access to the physical space when the chain of delegations start in an owner of the lock device and ends in the electronic key; and when all delegations in the chain of delegations after the co-sign delegation are cryptographically signed by both the delegator of the respective delegation and by the access controller.

Nonspecific vehicle

A vehicle capable of being utilized by users other than a user assigned to the vehicle is described herein. Such a vehicle may operate in various modes, including a first mode in which the vehicle allows additional users to utilize the vehicle and a second mode in which the vehicle prohibits additional users from utilizing the vehicle. A vehicle may transition from the first mode to the second mode based on various environmental factors, such as, but not limited to, vehicle demand, geolocation, and the like. When operating in a mode in which the vehicle can be utilized by users other than a user assigned to the vehicle, a user who may have been assigned a different vehicle may utilize the vehicle when proximate to the vehicle. Trip information and other details may be provided to the vehicle for transport of the user.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SHORT-RANGE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN DEVICES

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for communicating between devices using short-range communication links. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for communicating access-right data between devices for verification or transfer.

WIRELESS ACCESS CREDENTIAL SYSTEM

An access control system and methods according to at least one embodiment leverage wireless access credentials to allow a user to securely gain access to a secured area using his or her mobile device. As such, a credentialed mobile device may permit access to the secured area without requiring a real-time connection to a credential management system and/or an administrative system.

Smart device for use with an electronic key

A merchandise security system for protecting an item of merchandise from theft. The merchandise security system comprises a smart device and an electronic key coupled to the smart device. The electronic key is configured to communicate with a merchandise security device for operating a merchandise security device.

CREDENTIAL GATEWAY

Methods and systems are provided for performing operations comprising: receiving, by a credential gateway from a client device, a request to obtain a digital credential for accessing a secure resource, the credential gateway being configured to coordinate an exchange of digital credentials associated with different secure resource types with a plurality of client devices; communicating the request to a server associated with the secure resource; receiving, by the credential gateway from the server associated with the secure resource, a data object that includes the digital credential; selecting, by the credential gateway, based on the data object, a security protocol from a plurality of security protocols; and providing, by the credential gateway, the digital credential to the client device in accordance with the selected security protocol.

Modular mobility base for a modular autonomous logistics vehicle transport apparatus

A modular mobility base for a modular autonomous bot apparatus transporting an item being shipped including a mobile base platform, a component alignment interface, a mobility controller, a propulsion and steering system, and sensors. The component alignment interface provides an alignment channel into which another modular component can be placed and secured on the platform. The mobility controller generates propulsion control signals for controlling speed of the modular mobility base and steering control signals for navigation of the modular mobility base. The propulsion system is connected to the platform and responsive to the propulsion control signal. The steering system is connected to the mobile base platform and is responsive to the steering control signal to cause changes to directional movement of the modular mobility base. The sensors are disposed on the platform provide feedback sensor data to the mobility controller about a condition of the modular mobility base.

Self-service modular drop safes with messenger access capability

Novel modular smart management devices in the form of drop safes include the modular components of a chassis, door and technology cabinet. The drop safes enable retailers to make cash deposits quickly and safely within or near their own facilities. Various technology, including RFID readers, RFID tags, and other equipment allow the drop safes to identify each deposited bag. Employees utilize specialized apps on their mobile devices to facilitate deposit creation and other tasks. Novel methodologies for accessing the drop safes for emptying employ single-use, time-expiration type authorization codes along with other security measures to minimize risk and to provide other benefits. Novel structures along with methodologies for replacing, on-site, modular components with auto-detection of functionality during initialization and re-initialization enables for efficient replacement and upgrading of components, including the upgrading of safes to provide additional functionality.

Management method for electronic locks
11544979 · 2023-01-03 ·

A management method for electronic locks includes obtaining a manager mobile device with management authorities of a plurality of locks. The manager mobile device can be connected any one of the plurality of locks, and the lock connected to the manager mobile device switches to a writing mode. The lock connected to the manager mobile device writes the unlocking authority of at least one of the plurality of locks into a door access card. When the door access card is identified by one of the plurality of locks as being correct, the one of the plurality of locks is unlocked.

USER INTERFACES FOR MANAGING LOCKS

The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing locks. In some examples, an electronic device displays user interfaces for configuring a lock accessory device based on detected features of the lock accessory device, such as a short-range communication user interface for enabling an express mode of the lock accessory device and/or a pin user interface object for enabling a code for accessing the lock accessory device. In some examples, an electronic device displays a user interface corresponding to a respective user of a home automation system that includes statuses indicating whether the respective user has access to a plurality of lock accessory devices of the home automation system.
