COMBINED SECURITY ACCESS SYSTEM
A combined security access system for a building that includes a controllable building component. The system includes a combined security access device connected to the building component. The access device further includes: a processor; a first memory device connected to the processor; a second memory device connected to the processor; and a wireless interface module connected to the processor. The access device may be connected to an external electronic device, and the external electronic device communicates with the processor of the access control system to control the building component.
Co-signing delegations
It is provided a method for controlling access to a physical space using a co-sign delegation. The method is performed in a lock device and comprises the steps of: receiving an access request from an electronic key; obtaining a plurality of delegations, wherein each delegation is a delegation from a delegator to a delegatee, the plurality of delegations collectively forming a chain of delegations; determining that a delegation is a co-sign delegation, indicating that all further delegations need to be cryptographically signed by both the delegator of the respective delegation and by an access controller; and granting access to the physical space when the chain of delegations start in an owner of the lock device and ends in the electronic key; and when all delegations in the chain of delegations after the co-sign delegation are cryptographically signed by both the delegator of the respective delegation and by the access controller.
Access control system with dynamic access permission processing
Aspects of the disclosure relate to electronic access control. An electronic key can access a set of one or more electronic locks according to scheduled access permissions. Access schedules may define one or more authorized time periods during which access to an electronic lock is permitted. Access schedules can be generated based on user input received via a user interface. A key configuration corresponding to an access schedule is transmitted from a server to the electronic key. The set of electronic locks includes at least one lock designated as a conditional access lock. The conditional access lock is associated with access control information including at least one of environment data or personnel data. Responsive to determining that the access control information does not meet one or more criteria, the server automatically adjusts access schedules and generates a corresponding key configuration for the electronic key.
ACCESS SOLUTION FOR CONVEYOR SYSTEMS
The invention relates to a method for determining an access right to an entity of a conveyor system, wherein it is: received data comprising data representing an identity of a wireless key and data representing a location of the wireless key; detected that the wireless key resides in a predefined location; identified the conveyor system and the entity on a basis of data representing the predefined location; determined status of an identified conveyor system; determined an access right with the wireless key to the entity; and generated a control signal to cause one of the following: (i) a grant of an access to the entity, (ii) a refusal of an access to the entity. The invention also relates to a network node, a computer program product and to a conveyor system.
Method and a system for providing security to premises
A system and a method for providing security to premises. A method includes receiving first access information from an accessing unit associated with a premises on accessing the premises by a first user and second access information from a sensing unit associated with the premises on sensing access of the premises by a second user. The method further includes determining correlation between the first access information and the second access information and transmitting a message based on the correlation.
Wearable Badge and Method for Determining a Type of an Identification Card Removably in said Badge
Disclosed is a wearable badge (100) for holding an identification card (200). The badge (100) comprises a card holder (2) configured to removably hold an identification card (200), a first optical sensor (16) configured to measure an optical property of a first region (22) of a surface of the identification card (200) when removably held by the card holder (2), and a processor (20) configured to determine a type of the identification card (200) based on the measured optical property of the first region (22). Furthermore, a system is provided comprising the badge (100) and a set of identification cards (200), wherein at least some of the first regions (22) comprised by the set of identification cards (200) have different optical properties that encode different types of identification cards. Also disclosed is a method of determining a type of an identification card (200).
Gate device system and control method thereof
A method for controlling a gate device in connection with at least one gate and two frameworks connected to the at least one gate is provided. The method may include identifying an authorization status of an object. The method may include detecting pressure signals caused by the object at a first moment, if the authorization status is satisfied. The method may include determining whether or not an illegal tailgating event occurred based on the pressure signals. The method may further include generating a control signal for opening the at least one gate to facilitate the object to pass through the at least one gate in response to a determination that the illegal tailgating event did not occur.
Presence detection system and method
A presence detection system includes a support layer operable to act as an underlying surface for supporting object(s), a sensor layer disposed beneath the support layer and operable to output readings indicating the presence of object(s) supported on the support layer and a controller for receiving the presence readings from the sensor layer and determining, based on the readings, an indicator of the occupancy status and/or an occupancy level of the support layer. The presence detection system can be used within an access gate system whereby the access gate is operated to a blocking position upon the presence detection system detecting more than one human supported on the support layer, this operation overriding a reading of an authenticated user token. The presence detection system can also be used within an elevator system wherein the elevator door subsystem and the elevator displacement subsystem are controlled based on an occupancy level detected by the detection system. Methods for detecting object are also contemplated.
VISUAL VOUCHER COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Various embodiments each include at least one of systems, devices, methods, and software for visual voucher communication systems and methods. One such embodiment includes receiving an entry request with an account identifier from a requestor and retrieving data of a voucher from a voucher database based on the account identifier and a current voucher requirement. In such embodiments, when voucher data is retrieved, the voucher data is transmitted to the requestor. However, when no voucher data is retrieved and at least one voucher is available, the method includes transmitting a voucher procurement option to the requestor. Otherwise, when no voucher data is retrieved and no voucher is available, data representative thereof is transmitted to the requestor.
