AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE ("ATM") WITH FORENSIC CARD READER IDENTIFICATION VALIDATION
An ATM equipped with forensic card reader identification validation is provided. The ATM may include a real ID card slot. The real ID card slot may accept real ID cards. The ATM may include a call communications module. The call communications module may communicate with a third-party network. Upon insertion of a real ID card at the ATM, the ATM may retrieve security details from the real ID card. The ATM may transmit the security details to the third-party network via the call communications module. The third-party network may verify the security details with one or more databases which are accessible by the third-party network. Upon failure to verify the security details, the third-party network may transmit a failed verification response to the ATM.

Modular automated transaction machine
An automated transaction machine can include a user-interface device, a computing device, a battery, a head portion, a first socket-half, a first electrical rail, and a relay. The a user-interface device can be configured to receive an input from a user and transmit the input. The computing device can receive the input. The battery can selectively direct electric power to the user-interface device and the computing device, which can all be housed in the head portion. The first socket-half can be exposed on an outside surface of the head portion and direct power to the user-interface device, the computing device, and the battery. The relay can be arranged to connect the battery and the first electrical rail in a first configuration and be switched between the first configuration and the second configuration by an output signal of the first socket-half.

MONEY HANDLING MACHINE AND MONEY HANDLING METHOD
A money handling method to be executed by a money handling machine including a body and an extension unit. The method includes: instructing the extension unit to replenish the body with money with a specified denomination; replenishing the body from the extension unit in accordance with the instruction; recognizing a denomination of each of the money sent from the extension unit; storing the money in a first storage unit associated with a first denomination in a first case where the denomination recognized is the first denomination identical to the specified denomination; storing money in a second storage unit in a second case where the denomination recognized is a second denomination different from the specified denomination; and continuing the replenishment with the money using the extension unit as instructed in both the first case and the second case.
Medium processing device and automatic transaction device
A medium processing device includes a conveyance guide that forms first, second and third conveyance paths that intersect, a blade configured to be rotatable around a blade center point, and that switches a conveyance route of the medium by connecting any two of the three conveyance paths with each other, and a first pair, second pair and third pair of conveyance rollers that are rotatable and are configured to hand off the medium between two conveyance paths connected by the blade. The first pair of conveyance rollers includes a first roller and a second roller. The second roller is closer than the first roller to the third pair of conveyance rollers. A radius of the second roller is larger than a radius of the first roller. A first center holding distance is different from one or both of a second center holding distance and a third center holding distance.
COIN DEPOSIT PROCESSOR
A currency deposit processor transfers currencies set in a deposit part one by one, discriminates the currencies by denominations, stores the currencies in denominations in a storage part without temporarily holding the currencies, and confirms the deposited currencies for each transaction. A control unit is provided that, when one storage part reaches its maximum capacity with both currencies confirmed up to a previous deposit transaction and currencies unconfirmed in a current deposit transaction and a failure occurs after the filling-up currencies are removed, performs a special control, in which data on the currencies unconfirmed in the current deposit transaction and included in the filling-up currencies is calculated as a partial confirmation, and the data on the currencies calculated as the partial confirmation is added and reflected at a time of another deposit transaction after a fault recovery process.
