A money handling machine includes: a housing; a drawer that is drawable from the housing; a locking mechanism configured to lock the drawer in the housing; an identification information acquisition unit configured to acquire identification information of an operator; and a controller configured to control the locking mechanism such that, when an error occurs in a handling unit, the drawer can be drawn from the housing subject to the identification information of the operator having been acquired by the identification information acquisition unit.

For example, embodiments described herein relate to systems, methods and devices for monitoring card game activities at gaming tables and transfers of chips between one or more players and a dealer. Embodiments described herein may include devices and systems particularly configured to monitor table activities that include betting activities and the transfer of chips (e.g. between a player and a dealer, or between a first player and a second player) at gaming tables to determine bet data including a number of chips in a betting area of the gaming table, a total value of chips in the betting area, the number of chips in a chip tray, a total value of chips in the chip tray, and so on.

A money handling apparatus is constituted by a mechanical processing unit configured to mechanically process money, and a manually-handled money storage unit for storing money by a manual handling. The mechanical processing unit includes an inlet for receiving money, a recognition and counting unit configured to recognize and count the money that has been received in the inlet, a mechanically-processed money storage unit configured to store the money, an outlet to which the money fed from the mechanically-processed money storage unit is discharged, and a money transport unit configured to connect these units and portions. A chip tray system can include multiple chip tube components. A first chip tube component in the chip tray can include one or more gaming chip storage rows corresponding to a first size of gaming chip. A second chip tube component in the chip tray can include one or more gaming chip storage rows corresponding to a second size of gaming chip. An edge of the first chip tube component can be coupled to an edge of the second chip tube component.

A chip tray system can include multiple chip tube components. A first chip tube component in the chip tray can include one or more gaming chip storage rows corresponding to a first size of gaming chip. A second chip tube component in the chip tray can include one or more gaming chip storage rows corresponding to a second size of gaming chip. An edge of the first chip tube component can be coupled to an edge of the second chip tube component.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for till management. In one implementation, a recycling of notes is triggered using a recycler controller. The notes are recycled using a cash recycler, and the notes corresponding to a till. A coin value of plurality of coins corresponding to the till is recorded using the recycler controller. The coin value is determined by capturing a weight of a set of coins of the plurality of coins corresponding to a designated coin denomination. The weight of the set of coins is captured using a coin scale. The till is validated based on the coin value and the recycling of the notes.

Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for till management. In one implementation, a recycling of notes is triggered using a recycler controller. The notes are recycled using a cash recycler, and the notes corresponding to a till. A coin value of plurality of coins corresponding to the till is recorded using the recycler controller. The coin value is determined by capturing a weight of a set of coins of the plurality of coins corresponding to a designated coin denomination. The weight of the set of coins is captured using a coin scale. The till is validated based on the coin value and the recycling of the notes.
