Fuel station operations controller and method to control fuel station operation
A fuel station controller to dispense fuel and drinks, a fuel station including the fuel station controller, and a product management subsystem including sensors communicatively coupled with the fuel station controller. The controller includes a housing comprising product modules having connectors adapted to connect conductors from an ingestible product dispenser, wherein the controller is communicatively coupled with the product modules and comprises processing instructions operable to receive a value indicative of a quantity of an ingestible product in a box to be dispensed by the ingestible product dispenser and to generate an empty box alert if the value is below an empty box setpoint.
Dosing device, beverage dispensing device and worm body
The present invention relates to a dosing device for a product in powder form, comprising a holder (10) intended to hold a first quantity of the product therein. The holder is provided with dosing means to draw off the product from the holder and move it to an outlet. The dosing means comprise a worm body (20) with a worm thread (21). In a first aspect the worm body comprises at an outer end facing toward the outflow opening at least one further worm thread (22) which runs between the first worm thread (21). In a second aspect the worm thread (21) encloses a smaller volume between successive turns at a base than between successive turns in a part thereof located further toward the outer end.
Radio transmitter device for use in method and system for monitoring, controlling and optimizing flow of products
A liquid product distribution network includes a liquid product distribution monitoring and reporting apparatus for operation in association with a tap handle flow monitoring and reporting apparatus. The liquid product distribution monitoring and reporting apparatus includes a radio transmitter device and sensing circuitry for sensing and communicating physical properties associating with the keg. A tap handle flow monitoring and reporting apparatus senses flow of a liquid through a tap includes a tap handle radio transmitter device for fitting within and protected by a tap handle and a low-energy consumption tap handle radio/processing module. A mobile communications device with geographic position sensing device and/or said tap handle flow monitoring and reporting apparatus passively and without user interaction within the liquid product distribution network, without using network uplink/gateway circuit devices for sensing and reporting fluid storage, flow, and financial operations relating to the distribution of said liquid product throughout the liquid product distribution network.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND DEVICES FOR LOADING CURRENCY INTO AN ELECTRONIC WALLET
Various methods, systems, and devices for loading currency into an electronic wallet are provided. In general, a currency acceptance terminal can be configured to accept currency from a user for loading into the user's electronic wallet, which may be used to purchase products from a merchant. The currency acceptance terminal can be unmanned such that the currency can be accepted and loaded into the electronic wallet without a cashier or other employee handling the currency or the currency acceptance terminal.
System and method to process transactions at retail fueling stations using a mobile device
A method of processing a transaction includes receiving a site location code. Site configuration information corresponding to the received site location code is received from a database. That information includes more product record(s), each corresponding to a reservable product or a non-reservable product. A selection of one or more of the product records in the retrieved information is received. If any selected product record corresponds to a reservable product, a reservation command is produced. That command requests reservation of selected reservable product(s). A method of selecting a product includes receiving a location input and determining a site location code with it. The site location code is transmitted and one or more product records are received. Representations of one or more of the received product records are presented and a selection of products is received. An indication of the selection is transmitted.
Efficient resource provider system
Systems and techniques for increasing the efficiency of a process of providing a resource by a resource provider are disclosed. In one example, a method detects a presence of a vehicle at a fuel dispenser, transmits an authorization request message automatically in response to detecting the presence of the vehicle, and automatically allows the fuel dispenser to dispense fuel to the vehicle.
Beverage vending device networking
In an example embodiment, a beverage vending device is provided that includes a network interface and one or more processors. The beverage vending device also includes a computer-readable tangible medium with instructions stored thereon that direct the one or more processors to establish contact with an available network and locate a second beverage vending device on the network. The computer-readable tangible medium also has instructions stored thereon that direct the one or more processors to establish contact with the second beverage vending device on the network, and communicate with the second beverage vending device via the network.
Vehicle refueling system with automated fill identification, tracking and billing platform
The present application discloses an automated system and method for a vehicle fueling service. The system comprises a plurality of first users with a smart device preloaded with a software application. The first users are associated with a carrier of a mobile fuel dispensing unit. An online server is configured for the interaction between the first user and a plurality of second users and an online non-transitory storage database for storing information corresponding to an asset or a vehicle. The smart device is communicatively coupled to a NFC tag stuck to each asset or vehicle for their identification and further accessing the information. The software application comprises an integrated automated billing module for creation of an invoice in real time and is configured to allow the first users to handle a plurality of request for using the vehicle fueling service at a time.
System and method for instructing personnel on washroom maintenance requirements
A system and associated method are provided for maintenance of a plurality of washroom facilities by maintenance personnel, wherein each of the washroom facilities has one or more consumable product dispensers that require periodic refill. For each of the washroom facilities, the product dispensers are configured with a sensor that detects a product level or amount condition of the product dispenser, the sensors in communication with a monitoring station assigned to the washroom facility. A set of instructions unique to each of the washroom facilities is generated based upon the detected product level or amount conditions of the dispensers in the respective washroom facility, the set of instructions including instructions as to the amount of product refill to be added to the dispensers. With an identification (ID) system configured within each washroom facility, maintenance personnel that enter the washroom facility are identified and provided with the unique set of instructions in a message via a mobile smart device carried by the maintenance personnel or an audio or visual display device within the washroom facility.
Bridge configurations to communicate with various sites
Various systems, mediums, and methods may involve a bridge configured to communicate with a number of sites, such as fuel sites and/or restaurant sites. For example, a system may determine a mobile device is associated with a given fuel site, possibly located at the given fuel site, among a number of other fuel sites. Further, the system may determine one or more connections of the bridge that may be configured to communicate with a site component of the fuel site. As such, the system may transmit fuel data to the mobile device based on the one or more connections with the site component. Thus, the mobile device may display an indication of fuel available at the fuel site.
