A reverse vending machine includes a transport device for lifting an object in the reverse vending machine. The transport device includes a conveyor device for lifting the object from a lower level position to a higher level position in the reverse vending machine, and an object supporting device. The object supporting device is arranged substantially parallel to the conveyor device and arranged in such a way as to allow the object to be held between the conveyor device and the object supporting device during the lifting of the object.

A network of collection, charging and/or distribution machines collect, charge and/or distribute portable electrical energy storage devices (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors or ultracapacitors). In some embodiments, if the user selects to change their current portable electrical power storage device exchange plan to a two-portable electrical power storage device exchange plan while exchanging their current portable electrical power storage device, the user will return their current portable electrical power storage device and will receive two portable electrical power storage devices in exchange at the collection, charging and distribution machine. The user may also be required to pay additional fees and/or commit to additional obligations while at the collection, charging and distribution machine in order to change to the different portable electrical power storage device exchange plan.

Connector carriers (e.g., connector carousels) for use with electronic device processing kiosks, such as mobile phone recycling kiosks, are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a connector carrier includes a chassis and a plurality of electrical connectors fixedly positioned around a periphery of the chassis. In operation, the connector carrier is configured to rotate about a central axis to position a selected one of the electrical connectors in a first position adjacent to an inspection area of the kiosk, and then move toward the inspection area to move the selected electrical connector from the first position to a second position in which a user can connect a mobile phone to the electrical connector.

A recycling kiosk for vaping devices includes a digital link for accessing digital data from a vaping device; at least two storing compartments for storing of vaping devices of different conditions; wherein the recycling kiosk is arranged to store vaping devices in the respective storing compartment based on the digital data accessed from the vaping device. A method for accepting a vaping device by a recycling kiosk is also provided.

According to the present invention, in order to collate, without marking in advance, whether each container is a container to be deposited when collecting the container, this collation device is provided with: an object fingerprint database in which object fingerprint data extracted from image data of a product to be deposited is conserved; an object fingerprint data acquisition unit which acquires object fingerprint extracted from image data of the container; an object fingerprint data collation unit which collates the object fingerprint data extracted from the container image data with the object fingerprint data stored in the object fingerprint database, and generates deposit information according to the collation result; and a deposit information output unit which outputs, to an output source of object fingerprint data, the deposit information generated by the object fingerprint data collation unit.

A device for purchasing a mobile phone, according to one embodiment, comprises an inspection unit for accommodating a mobile phone and inspecting same, wherein the inspection unit may comprise: a housing; a base arranged inside the housing and on which the mobile phone is placed; a plurality of cameras arranged on the upper surface, the lower surface, and a side surface of the housing; a plurality of mirrors arranged near the base; and a collecting element which is arranged on the lower side of the housing and collects the mobile phone for which inspection is complete. Here, the plurality of cameras may capture images of the mobile phone and images reflected by the plurality of mirrors.

A device for purchasing a mobile phone, according to one embodiment, comprises an inspection unit for accommodating a mobile phone and inspecting same, wherein the inspection unit may comprise: a housing; a base arranged inside the housing and on which the mobile phone is placed; a plurality of cameras arranged on the upper surface, the lower surface, and a side surface of the housing; a plurality of mirrors arranged near the base; and a collecting element which is arranged on the lower side of the housing and collects the mobile phone for which inspection is complete. A container deposit return system having a housing, a crushing assembly and a control system. The crushing assembly is positioned within the housing and has a first crushing wall and a second crushing wall spaced apart from the first crushing wall defining a crush cavity, and, a crushing wall movement assembly structurally configured to move the first crushing wall relative to the second crushing wall to direct the first crushing wall toward and away from the second crushing wall. The two crushing walls are configured crush a container that is positioned within the crush cavity. The control system having at least one imaging sensor, the imaging sensor configured to record an image the container before crushing and after crushing.
