Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for mobile payment handover for self-service terminals. An embodiment operates by generating handover data configured to instruct a user device to settle an amount due. The embodiment further operates by obtaining an electronic confirmation that the amount due has been settled. Subsequently, the embodiment operates by determining that the amount due has been settled responsive to the electronic confirmation.

An object is to provide a commodity registration apparatus capable of, even when a plurality of customers use one shopping cart together, enabling each of the customers to know the share of the total price he/she needs to individually pay. A commodity registration apparatus according to the present invention includes: a reading unit configured to read commodity identification information for identifying a commodity; an image pickup unit configured to photograph a customer who has made the reading unit read the commodity identification information; and a control unit configured to identify the customer, store the identified customer and commodity information corresponding to the commodity identification information in a storage unit while associating them with each other, receive an input made through an operation performed on an input unit by the customer, and output the customer and the commodity information to an output unit while associating them with each other.

A point of sale system includes a payment module having a plurality of payment modes, and a discount module configured to determine a discount associated with each of the plurality of payment modes. The point of sale system includes a processor configured to receive a request for processing the payment for the purchase order, and generate at least one first invoice receipt for the purchase order. The at least one first invoice receipt includes an indication of the discount available corresponding to each of the plurality of payment modes. The processor is also configured to process the payment of the purchase order using a desired payment mode of a customer and generate at least one final invoice receipt indicating the desired payment mode and the discount associated with the desired payment mode.

A receipt server according to an embodiment includes a storage unit, a generation unit, and an update unit. The storage unit stores management data for managing whether or not to display a display element. The generation unit generates, based on the management data stored in the storage unit, a receipt screen which indicates details of a transaction to be displayed on an information terminal device, by adding a display element to be displayed. The update unit updates the management data in response to an operation at the information terminal device on the receipt screen generated by the generation unit.
