MOTION-SENSING FLOOR MAT, MOTION-SENSING FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY, AND MONITORING SYSTEM WITH THE SAME FLOOR MATS
A motion-sensing floor mat, an assembly of such floor mats, and a monitoring system with such floor mats are provided; wherein the floor mat can be joined with another such floor mat and electrically connected to a monitoring device to form the monitoring system; the monitoring device stores a queue list and a topology matrix and uses a topological algorithm to store the identification tag of each such floor mat detected into the queue list in order, to gradually establish the topology matrix for the floor mats detected; and to thereby obtain the relative positions of the floor mats detected. When any of the floor mats is subjected to pressure (e.g., when someone falls on the floor mat accidentally) and generates a sensing signal, the monitoring device can pinpoint the position of that floor mat (i.e., the location of the fall) rapidly according to the topology matrix.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING GRAIN THEFT IN HARVESTING OPERATIONS
Systems and methods for theft reduction of grain are disclosed. A grain cart includes a theft detection system that monitors grain onboarded into the grain cart from a harvesting machine, and grain offloaded from the grain cart to a trailer. The theft detection system measures a weight value of the grain received from the harvesting machine, and transmits the weight value to a tracking system. Additionally, the theft detection system can receive an expected grain weight value from the harvesting machine and compare the measured weight value with the received weight value, and provide a notification (e.g., alarm) of the difference is greater than a predetermined threshold. The theft detection system can provide similar functions between weight values of grain in the grain cart and a trailer. Also, the theft detection system can encrypt transmit the weight values prior to transmitting to the tracking system.
WIRELESS MAT FOR FIREARMS AND VALUABLES AND METHOD OF ALERTING A USER
A system for alerting a user to unauthorized movement of an object has a mat that is embedded with a first wireless transceiver (e.g., NFC transceiver) and a second wireless transceiver (e.g., Wi-Fi® transceiver). An object, such as a firearm, has a wireless tag (e.g., NFC tag) coupled thereto for communication with the first wireless transceiver of the mat. When the object is moved, the first wireless transceiver loses connection with the wireless tag. When communication is lost, the second wireless transceiver transmits an alert to a user that the object has been moved.
Pest Control System Having Event Monitoring
Pest control systems and methods are described. The systems comprise a portable electronic device which is configured to identify one or more of multiple PCDs within a range of a portable electric device which have been activated, and to provide an indication to a user corresponding to at least one of the identified activated PCDs.
Alert system
An alert system includes a bladder having an interior area to hold a gas or a liquid; a control system in communication with the bladder; an alert device in communication with the bladder; pressure applied to the bladder causes the gas or the liquid to pass to the control system; and the gas or the liquid causes the alert device to provide an alert based on a command from the control system.

Automated area denial system
A system and method for automatically screening anyone arriving to a facility outside of predetermined entry and exit times is provided. The automated screening system denies entry and detains anyone determined to be a threat. An operator may then take the person denied entry into custody or manually override the system to allow the person access to the facility.
MONITORING SYSTEM WITH PRESSURE SENSOR IN FLOOR COVERING
A monitoring system comprises a floor covering with a sheet-type pressure sensor and a sensor control unit. The latter includes an ADC for providing a digital raw signal, a microcontroller configured to carry out data extraction by signal processing of the digital raw signal and generating a digital processed signal having a lower digital bandwidth than the digital raw signal, and a communications module connected to or integrated within the microcontroller so as to receive the digital processed signal. The communications module is configured to establish data communication with one or more database servers and to transmit the extracted data to the one or more database servers.
Remote Monitoring System
A remote monitoring system is provided including a sensor, for sensing data associated with a remotely monitored object; a transmitter coupled to the sensor, and for transmitting data of the sensor via satellite; and a notification system coupled to the transmitter, for receiving the sensor data and providing notifications to a user based upon the received sensor data.
FOOTFALL DETECTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Apparatus for detection and identification of footfall, comprises an arrangement of pressure detectors on a horizontal surface; a footfall pattern detector to receive a sequence of signals from each pressure detector in distinguishable manner over a time frame, to build from said signals a time evolution of a footfall event on said horizontal surface; and a tracker to compare different time evolutions, and thereby to connect together different footfall events to track a person or object over said horizontal surface.
