Presence detection and notification system
A system and a method for presence detection and notification. The system includes a a first unit including a first sensor and a first visual alert, and a second unit including a second sensor and a second visual alert. The first unit is constructed to send a signal to the second unit to trigger the second visual alert, when the first sensor detects a presence. The second unit is constructed to send a signal to the first unit to trigger the first visual alert, when the second sensor detects a presence. The first and second visual alerts are constructed to be triggered independently of one another.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USING DATA PACKET TRANSMISSION TO DETERMINE COMPLIANCE WITH PROTOCOLS
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for determining a time-length of an action are provided. For example, a first event may be detected. Responsive to detecting the first event, a first inquiry may be transmitted in a first direction, using a first device. The first inquiry may be received by a second device. Responsive to receiving the first inquiry, a first reply data packet, comprising an identification number associated with the second device, may be transmitted, using the second device, to the first device. A second event may be detected. Responsive to detecting the second event, a second inquiry may be transmitted in a second direction, using a third device. The second inquiry may be received by the second device. Responsive to receiving the second inquiry, a second reply data packet, comprising the identification number, may be transmitted, using the second device, to the third device.

DETECTING AN OBJECT IN AN ENVIRONMENT
An apparatus, method and system for detecting an object in an environment. The apparatus comprises: a processor, the processor coupled to an active reflected wave detector that is operable to measure wave reflections from the environment. The processor is configured to: process measured wave reflection data to determine whether a predetermined condition is met, the measured wave reflection data accrued by the processor in response to the active reflected wave detector being activated in response to a motion sensor detecting motion in said environment; and if the predetermined condition is met, perform at least one operation related to camera image data.

ADJUSTABLE DWELL TIME FOR MOTION DETECTOR BASED ON ACTIVITY
A motion detector that can automatically adjust a dwell time used by the motion detector to prevent unnecessary transmissions as an activity level of an area increases or decreases. The motion detector determines the activity level in the area and if the activity level is increasing, the dwell time is reduced and vice-versa.

INVISIBLE ACOUSTIC SAFE
The present disclosure describes a system and method designed to protect the contents of a region or space within a facility (e.g., building, home, vehicle, outdoor space, etc.). The system is configured to identify an area to be protected (e.g., nightstand, medicine cabinet, safe), monitor surroundings, and manage and deploy response(s) to threats to the region or space under protection. The system may also be configured to provide incremental warnings, interventions, or countermeasures to deter people or animals from accessing the Protected Space.
Automatic adjusting of video analytics rules for camera movement
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for adjusting of video analytics rules for camera movement. The methods, systems, and apparatus include actions of obtaining a rule that specifies a first set of coordinates applied to a first set of images from a camera, determining an amount and direction of movement of the camera after the rule was obtained, determining, based on the amount and direction of movement of the camera, a second set of coordinates applied to a second set of images captured after the camera moved.
