Security Device
A security device is disclosed comprising a main housing, a power supply housing releasable from the main housing and a release arrangement configured to provide a release process in which the power supply housing is moveable from an installed configuration to a released configuration via a partially released configuration. A power connection is provided for supply of power to the security device when the power supply housing is in the partially released configuration. Processing circuitry is configured to obtain power via the power connection and receive an indication that the power supply housing has moved from the installed configuration and/or to the partially released configuration.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An access management system includes a mobile device with a processor and a memory and a software platform including at least a processor and a memory. The software platform is configured to analyze data obtained from the mobile device and other devices connected to the software platform. Specifically, the software platform is operable to determine if an access key received, read, or captured by a mobile device matches an access key for an authorized account, object, device, or space for the mobile device, and to provide access to the mobile device if the access key received, read, or captured by the mobile device matches the authorized access key.
IMAGING SYSTEM FOR IMMERSIVE SURVEILLANCE
Security guards at big facilities, such as airports, monitor multiple screens that display images from individual surveillance cameras dispersed throughout the facility. If a guard zooms with a particular camera, he will lose image resolution, along with perspective on the surrounding area. Embodiments of the inventive Imaging System for Immersive Surveillance (ISIS) solve these problems by combining multiple cameras in one device. When properly mounted, example ISIS systems offer 360-degree, 100-megapixel views on a single screen. (Other resolutions may also be employed.) Image-stitching software merges multiple video feeds into one scene. The system also allows operators to tag and follow targets, and can monitor restricted areas and sound an alert when intruders breach them.
CAMERA ASSEMBLY WITH COOLED INTERNAL ILLUMINATOR
A surveillance camera assembly includes an upper portion providing a mounting feature for the surveillance camera assembly. A ball-shaped head portion of the camera assembly is coupled to the upper portion. A camera lens module is positioned within the head portion and movable relative to the upper portion to pan about a pan axis and tilt about a tilt axis. An illuminator module is movable to pan and tilt with the camera lens module, the illuminator module including laterally opposed arrays of lighting elements supported on distal ends of a bifurcated cooling duct having a central inlet opening coupled to the discharge outlet of a first blower.
Thermal management in smart doorbells
Various smart doorbell arrangements are presented. Based on a measured temperature of the smart doorbell, operation of the smart doorbell device may be altered such that more heat or less heat is generated without affecting user-facing features. Based on another measured temperature, operation of the smart doorbell may be altered such that a chime that is electrically coupled to the smart doorbell device is not sounded in response to a doorbell actuation, but that a notification of the doorbell actuation is wirelessly transmitted by the smart doorbell device.
CAMERA COVER, IMAGE CAPTURING DEVICE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CAMERA COVER
A camera cover is provided. The camera cover has a coating formed on a surface of the camera cover. The coating contains a urethane acrylate resin. The camera cover has a dome shape and is designed to protect an image capturing unit. A Berkovich hardness at an indenter penetration depth of 100 to 300 nm on a surface of the coating is at least 0.4 GPa.
CAMERA HEAD ASSEMBLY
A camera head assembly for a camera, a camera including the camera head assembly and a method for mounting the camera head assembly. The camera head assembly includes a camera housing and at least one tray, wherein the housing includes at least one reference surface on its inner surface, and the at least one tray includes at least one reference surface corresponding to the reference surface of the housing, the least one reference surface of the at least one tray preferably being produced by cutting out, wherein the at least one tray is arranged inside the housing such that the at least one reference surface of the housing and the at least one reference surface of the at least one tray abut each other, and such that the tray is clamped between a first surface of the housing and a second surface of the housing.
VIDEO DEVICE WITH ELECTROMAGNETICALLY REFLECTIVE ELEMENTS
An apparatus, such as a doorbell, may include a doorbell housing. The doorbell housing may include a front surface facing exterior of a premises and a rear surface facing interior of the premises. A camera, doorbell activator, motion sensor, and/or light source may be at least partially positioned within the doorbell housing. An antenna may be positioned within the doorbell housing. The antenna may be configured to send a wireless signal comprising data to a data receiving device inside the premises. A reflective member may be positioned within the doorbell housing and configured to reflect at least a portion of the wireless signal that is sent toward the front surface of the doorbell housing.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An access management system includes a mobile device with a processor and a memory and a software platform including at least a processor and a memory. The software platform is configured to analyze data obtained from an access management device and other devices connected to the software platform. Other devices connected to the platform include robots, such as aerial robots, which are configured to detect motion and engage with an object connected to the motion detection. An enclosure is operable to house an aerial robot and provides for ease of addition of the aerial robot to a security or entry management system by providing an easily installable package. The enclosure provides the advantages of simple deployment and charging of aerial robots.
