A device may receive radio frequency (RF) transmissions from access points provided in a zone, and may calculate channel state information (CSI) for the access points based on the RF transmissions. The device may identify CSI phases that satisfy a phase threshold to eliminate surrounding movement in the zone and to focus on an entry location of the zone, and may perform a short-time Fourier transform of the CSI phases to generate a frequency versus time graph. The device may perform a spectrogram analysis of the frequency versus time graph or may process the frequency versus time graph, with a machine learning model, to determine a quantity of people in the zone and a start and stop times associated with entries and exits of the people to and from the zone. The device may perform actions based on the quantity of people and the start and stop times.

The processor may be configured to perform video operations to generate dewarped frames from the video frames and detect objects in the dewarped frames, extract data about the objects based on characteristics of the objects determined using said video operations, perform path planning in response the extracted data and generate a video stream based on the dewarped frames. The video operations may generate the dewarped frames to correct a distortion effect caused by capturing the video frames from the low position. The path planning may be used to move the apparatus to a new location. The apparatus may be capable of autonomous movement.

A camera assembly with a camera dome, a camera housing, has a plurality of camera heads arranged inside the housing and the dome. Each camera head is arranged in a camera support which is movable around a center of the camera assembly and each camera support has a first, inner, follower portion configured to engage a first, inner, guide portion of the camera housing. Furthermore, each camera support has a second, outer, follower portion configured to engage a second, outer, guide portion of the camera housing. The camera support also comprises a camera head fixture connecting the first follower portion with the second follower portion. Each follower portion is arranged to slide in the corresponding guide portion.

A video monitoring system includes a video monitoring wall that is configured to display a plurality of video streams. One or more cameras are disposed relative to the video monitoring wall. One or more directional speakers are disposed relative to the video monitoring wall such that each of the one or more directional speakers is directed toward a corresponding location on the viewing side of the video monitoring wall. A controller is configured to identify that a desired action should be taken by a particular operator, based at least in part on the one or more video streams assigned to the particular operator. The controller is configured to analyze one or more local video streams from the cameras to ascertain a current location of the particular operator and to direct an audio message to the current location of the operator using one or more of the directional speakers.
