SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMMERSIVE AND COLLABORATIVE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
Systems and methods for immersive and collaborative video surveillance, in the commercial security industry are provided. Some methods can include receiving a video data stream from a surveillance camera in a monitored region via a cloud network, a user interface device of or coupled to a virtual reality headset displaying the video data stream, and the user interface device receiving user input corresponding to a movement of a user's body to navigate the video data stream and simulate the user navigating the monitored region from within the monitored region.
MASKING OF OBJECTS IN A VIDEO STREAM
A method for masking of objects in a video stream, the method comprising: acquiring a video stream; detecting an object in the video stream; determining whether the detected object belongs to a foreground of the video stream indicative of moving objects or to a background of the video stream indicative of static objects; classifying the detected object to be of a specific type using a first classifier if the detected object is determined to belong to the foreground, and using a second classifier if the detected object is determined to belong to the background, the first classifier being different from the second classifier, and if the detected object is classified as being of the specific type of object, masking the object in the video stream.
COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS IN INTEGRATED SYSTEMS
Systems and methods comprise a gateway at a premises. The gateway is coupled to a remote system. An interface component is coupled to a processor of the gateway. The interface component comprises at least one module that interfaces and exchanges data with a processing component of a security system installed at a location. The processing component uses a proprietary protocol of the security system for processing data of the security system. The processor controls communications that comprise passing commands from the remote systems to the security system, and passing event data of the security system to the remote system.
Management of a security system at a premises
A security system is described for managing a premises. The security system comprises security system components and a first controller. A takeover component receives security data of the security system from the first controller. The security data is used to configure a second controller to communicate with the security system. The second controller communicates with the security system components and replaces the first controller in management of the security system.
MONITOR FOR DYNAMIC DISPLAYING
The present invention provides a monitor for dynamic displaying. K cameras are connected with the monitor in order to display images recorded by the k cameras on a screen of the monitor. An “abnormality detection algorithm” is used for detecting abnormalities of the images recorded by the k cameras. Those images having abnormalities are displayed continuously on the screen, other images having no abnormality are not displayed, so that a security service personnel can watch those images having abnormalities on the screen to enable appropriate action quickly.
Graphical User Interface for a Video Surveillance System
A graphical user interface (GUI) for video management software controlling a video surveillance system typically provides a user with a large range of viewing options. A user must interact with a variety of GUI controls to view video in a particular way. These interactions are time consuming and may be aggravating to a user, especially when the user routinely views video in a particular way. The present disclosure embraces a GUI in which camera icons may be dragged and/or dragged-and-dropped in drop areas to execute scripts enabling various viewing and camera-control operations.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An image processing device (3000) comprises an input unit (3020) and a presentation unit (3040). The input unit (3020) accepts an input of an operation for movement, on a captured image captured by a camera, of a first image which is superimposed on the captured image on the basis of a predetermined camera parameter indicating the position and attitude of the camera and which indicates a target object having a predetermined shape and a predetermined size set in a real space. The presentation unit (3040) presents the first image indicating the target object in a manner of view corresponding to a position on the captured image after the movement on the basis of the camera parameter.
SELECTIVELY ROUTING DATA STREAMS OVER DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
A security system is provided to integrate a local existing security system with other security and automation devices which may not be compatible with the existing security system. The security system can connect and integrate an existing security system, and provide a centralized point of controlling all existing and new security and automation devices in a premise, thereby allowing flexibility in modifying and expanding a security system in the premise without need of replacing the security system that has been already installed throughout the premise. The security system can at least partially self-program to communicate with an existing security system when the security system is connected to the existing security system.
Cross-client sensor user interface in an integrated security network
An integrated system includes a system user interface (SUI) that provides an iconic, at-a-glance representation of integrated security system status. The SUI is for use across all client devices including mobile or cellular telephones, a mobile portal, a web portal, and a touchscreen device. The SUI includes a number of display elements presented across all types of client devices for monitoring status of the integrated security system. The display elements of the SUI include an orb icon, text summary, security button, device warnings, system warnings, interesting sensors, and quiet sensors. The SUI thus provides system status summary information agnostically across all clients. Additionally, the SUI provides consistent iconography, terminology, and display rules across all clients as well as consistent sensor and system detail across clients.
MONITORING CAMERA AND DETECTION METHOD
A monitoring camera having artificial intelligence includes an imaging unit, a communication unit that receives a parameter relating to a detection target from a terminal device, and a processing unit that constructs the artificial intelligence based on the parameter, and uses the constructed artificial intelligence to detect the detection target from an image captured by the imaging unit.
