Electronic Monitoring System Using Push Notifications with Custom Audio Alerts
An electronic monitoring system has one or more imaging devices that can detect a triggering event based on motion and/or sound and that concurrently provide a push notification to a user device with a custom audio alert indicative of the one or more triggering events for quickly identifying the triggering without requiring the remote device to execute a dedicated application program. The custom audio alert portion of the push notification may provide various details of the triggering event, categorized as either a genus level triggering event and/or a species level triggering event, i.e., a subset of the genus level triggering event. The push notification can operate as a custom audio alert and a pop-up message which can be pushed to the device and broadcast or displayed via an operating system of the device.
DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A display control apparatus (100) includes a display processing unit (102) that displays, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, an image of a surveillance camera (5) of a store on at least one display (10) installed in the store.
Electronic Monitoring System Using Video Notification
A camera-based monitoring system is provided that that, upon generation of an alert or notification, can provide a video clip formed from multiple frames or images to the notification system of a user-accessible monitoring device, such as a cell phone, to make it easy detect an object that is moving in the camera's field of view. Since the human eye is extremely sensitive to motion, the “triggering object” whose activities triggered image acquisition can be identified more easily, rapidly, and reliably from the video clip than from a still image. In addition to including the camera and detector(s), the system may include a base station and a controller. A method of operating such an electronic monitoring system also is disclosed
DETERRENCE DEVICES AND TECHNIQUES
Apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products for deterrence techniques are described. A method may include processing data from an outdoor camera. A method may include detecting a person based at least in part on processed data from an outdoor camera. A method may include emitting a sound from an outdoor camera to deter a person in response to detecting the person.
Control device, camera system, and program
A control device including a processing circuit and a control circuit is provided. The processing circuit is configured to generate a birds-eye view image from a plurality of captured images. Each captured image of the plurality of captured images is in a different viewing direction. The control circuit is configured to receive a first selection input to select one of a wide-view image and the birds-eye view image, and to control display in a monitoring process, based on the first selection input, of the wide-view image, the birds-eye view image, and a first captured image different from the wide-view image and the birds-eye view image. The control circuit is configured to control display in the monitoring process, based on a second selection input, of the wide-view image, the birds-eye view image, and the first captured image.
MONITORING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
Provided is a monitoring apparatus including a communication unit which receives streaming data and metadata of a video from each of a plurality of cameras installed indoors when the cameras obtain videos by capturing specific areas, respectively; a metadata analysis unit which analyzes the received metadata and extracts information about an event that occurred; a video selection unit which selects a video containing an area in which the event occurred from the videos based on the extracted information about the event; and a screen unit which receives the selected video from the video selection unit and immediately displays the received video when the monitoring apparatus is operated.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT PAUSES MEDIA PLAYBACK BASED ON EXTERNAL INTERRUPTION CONTEXT
An electronic device, computer program product, and method manage presenting and pausing of media content in response to remotely detected interruptions. The electronic device includes network interface(s) by which the electronic device communicatively connects to: (i) a media output device that presents media content; and (ii) external device(s) that is configured to detect an event that draws user attention. A controller of the electronic device is communicatively coupled to the at least one network interface and a user interface device. The controller presents, via one or more signals transmitted via the network interface(s), media content presented on the media output device. The controller monitors the external device(s). In response to receiving input indicating that at least one external device has detected an event, the controller pauses the presentation of the media content on the media output device and presents, on a user interface device, a notification of the event.
Mobile surveillance apparatus, program, and control method
Provided is a technique for enhancing operability of a mobile apparatus. An information processing apparatus (2000) includes a first processing unit (2020), a second processing unit (2040), and a control unit (2060). The first processing unit (2020) generates information indicating an event detection position in accordance with a position on a surveillance image set in a first operation. The first operation is an operation with respect to the surveillance image displayed on a display screen. The second processing unit (2040) performs a display change process with respect to the surveillance image or a window including the surveillance image. The control unit (2060) causes any one of the first processing unit (2020) and the second processing unit (2040) to process the first operation on the basis of a second operation.
IDENTIFYING REGIONS OF INTEREST IN AN IMAGING FIELD OF VIEW
The techniques described herein relate to computerized methods, systems and non-transitory computer-readable media for determining a plurality of regions of interest from an image of a scene for motion detection. The methods can include generating the regions of interest using image segmentation techniques and receiving user selection to designate one or more regions as motion detection zones. The methods can also automatically recommend motion detection zones. The methods can include subsequently capturing one or more images of a scene and performing motion detection in the one or more images of the scene using the designated motion detection zones.
Method and monitoring centre for monitoring occurrence of an event
A method and monitoring center for monitoring occurrence of events in a monitored area, where a monitoring equipment displays information that reflects sensor data reported from sensors in the monitored area. When the monitoring center detects an abnormal event, it identifies a set of sensors which are potentially impacted by the event, and triggers the sensors to enter a vigilance state of elevated operation and to deliver enhanced sensor data. Further, a representation of the abnormal event is auto-zoomed on the monitoring equipment based on the enhanced sensor data from the sensors to increase resolution of the displayed representation.
