System for inventory management
Sensor-equipped display management systems and methods that may be used to calculate a number of products removed from a display management system based upon motion of one or more mechanisms within the display management system. Additionally, the systems and methods may be used to detect patterns from the sensor data, which may be indicative of attempted theft of products stored within the display management system.
LIGHT SOCKET SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS
A light socket surveillance system can be used to enable a first party to communicate with a second party. The light socket surveillance system can be used to detect an audible notification from the first party. In response to detecting the audible notification from the first party, the light socket surveillance system can initiate a communication session with a remote computing device of the second party.
System and method for responding to an active shooter
An automated alert system, device and method designed to deliver crisis notifications within seconds to law enforcement personnel. The alert system and method is designed to enhance the response time to an active shooter scenario, thereby minimizing the number of causalities or victims associated with such dangerous scenarios. The system and method uses combination of various hardware components, cellular automation and partnership with first responders to provide an advanced alert system which ensures quick responses.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING ACTIVITY IN AN AREA USING A VIDEO CAMERA AND AN AUDIO SENSOR
Identifying activity in an area even during periods of poor visibility using a video camera and an audio sensor are disclosed. The video camera is used to identify visible events of interest and the audio sensor is used to capture audio occurring temporally with the identified visible events of interest. A sound profile is determined for each of the identified visible events of interest based on sounds captured by the audio sensor during the corresponding identified visible event of interest. Then, during a time of poor visibility, a subsequent sound event is identified in a subsequent audio stream captured by the audio sensor. One or more sound characteristics of the subsequent sound event are compared with the sound profiles associated with each of the identified visible events of interest, and if there is a match, one or more matching sound profiles are filtered out from the subsequent audio stream.
Digital fingerprint tracking
Techniques are described for tracking intruders of a monitored property by the unique identifying characteristics or “digital fingerprints” of electronic devices carried by the intruders. A system detects an alarm event at a monitored property based on output from at least one sensor located at the monitored property. In response to detecting the alarm event at the monitored property, the system initiates a process to gather electronic identifiers for mobile electronic devices located within the monitored property at a time corresponding to the detected alarm event. The system determines electronic identifiers for the mobile electronic devices located within the monitored property at a time corresponding to the detected alarm event. The system stores in electronic storage, information indicating the determined electronic identifiers for the mobile electronic devices located within the monitored property at a time corresponding to the detected alarm event.
PORTABLE ALARM DEVICE
A portable alarm device connected to a mobile device, the portable alarm including a main body having a hand held size, at least one sensor disposed on and within at least a portion of the main body to illuminate a color in response to detecting movement within a predetermined distance therefrom, and a communication unit disposed on and within at least a portion of the main body to transmit an alert signal from the at least one sensor to the mobile device in response to the at least one sensor detecting movement within the predetermined distance.
Customizable intrusion zones for audio/video recording and communication devices
Customizable intrusion zones for audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for an A/V recording and communication device is provided, the method comprising displaying, on a display of the computing device, a user interface for creating and/or customizing at least one intrusion zone, wherein the at least one intrusion zone comprises at least one motion zone within a field of view of the A/V recording and communication device coupled with at least one conditional setting of the at least one motion zone, determining whether an input has been received to establish a new conditional setting, or to change a previous conditional setting, determining whether an input has been received to save the new conditional setting or to save the changed conditional setting, and saving the new conditional setting or the changed conditional setting.
ALLOCATING DIFFERENT TASKS TO A PLURALITY OF PRESENCE SENSOR SYSTEMS
A controller (1) for performing presence detection with a first sensor system (41,42) and a second sensor system (31-37) is configured to receive sensor signals from the first sensor system and/or the second sensor system. The second sensor system is of a different type than the first sensor system. The controller is further configured to determine which first one or more areas of the plurality of areas are in both the sensor range of the first sensor system and the sensor range of the second sensor system based on the sensor signals and control the second sensor system to perform, with respect to the first one or more areas, a second task other than a first task to be performed by the first sensor system. The first task comprises obtaining sensor data to be used for presence detection in the first one or more areas.
POWER OUTLET CAMERAS
A security system can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include an outwardly facing portion configured to face away from the power outlet and an inwardly facing portion having a first electrical prong and a second electrical prong that protrude into the power outlet to mount the security system to the power outlet. The security system can also include a detection system comprising a camera and a motion detector.
System for test and measurement instrumentation data collection and exchange
A method of capturing instrument data using a communications device includes sending an actuation signal to a camera to take a photograph of at least one instrument, one of either transmitting or receiving a trigger message between the communications device and the at least one instrument, storing the photograph in a memory on the communications device, determining associated information for the photograph, and transmitting the photograph, associated information and user information to a network. A communications device has a camera having an actuator, at least one communications link, a memory, and a processor configured to execute instructions that cause the processor to: send an actuation signal to the camera to take a photograph of an instrument when a user activates the actuator; send a trigger message to the instrument to save instrument data; store the photograph in the memory with associated information about the photo including user information; and transmit at least the photo, associated information, and the user information to a remote location.
