INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes a getting-off determining unit that determines whether or not an occupant gets off a vehicle, a location determining unit that determines whether or not an electronic device to be used by the occupant in the vehicle is at a predetermined position in the vehicle, and a notification control unit that gives a predetermined notification to the occupant when the getting-off determining unit determines that the occupant gets off and the location determining unit determines that the electronic device is not at the predetermined position.
Monitoring system to identify unregistered persons entering premises and to secure rooms containing registered occupants
The disclosed embodiments provide an improved monitoring and security system to identify the presence of persons within a premises, to track the relative location of the person as he or she traverse the premises, and to generate an alert and optionally enter a lockdown mode if the person does not possess a pre-registered computing device or wireless transceiver. In the lockdown mode, doors optionally can be shut and locked through remote or local control or automatically if the distance between the person and the particular door falls below a predetermined threshold.
Systems and methods for presenting security questions via connected security system
The various implementations described herein include methods, devices and systems for detecting trigger events and executing security protocols. In one aspect, a method is performed at a server system that is coupled to a smart device system and a client device, the smart device system located at a premises. The server system: (1) detects an unverified user within the premises based on data collected by the smart device system, wherein the data is communicated to the server system via the wide area networks; (2) provides a notification regarding the unverified user to authorized users via the wide area networks; (3) receives, from a first authorized user, a first user input in response to the notification; and (4) in response to receiving the first user input, executes a security operation at the premises based on the first user input.
ANTI-THEFT GATE SYSTEM
An anti-theft security system for business entryways that is a housing assembly with at least one sidewall. An entrance in the sidewall is located opposite an exit so a person can move straight through with the sidewall including at least one transparent portion. A sensor assembly on the housing assembly is designed to detect electronic tags on products. Separate entrance and exit retractable doors are opened or closed independently or simultaneously in response to the sensor assembly. At least one control unit and at least one electronic motor assembly is electrically or wirelessly coupled to the sensor. The electronic motor is also coupled to the entrance and exit retractable doors, the doors slidably movable along a track assembly disposed internally, externally, or within the sidewall to open or close the doors. At least one alarm is electrically coupled to the sensor assembly. A control switch controls which doors are closed when a sensor detects a tag and a release actuator may open doors manually.
Active intruder mitigation system and method
A life safety system for mitigating injuries and fatalities to occupants of a multi-zone structure comprising a plurality of controllers, and coupled to said controller, a plurality of digital imaging devices, a plurality of locking mechanisms, a plurality of dispersion points for the dispersion of at least one dispersible substance, and a plurality of thermostatic members. The life safety system further comprises at least one monitoring location physically removed from at least one of said controllers and from at least one of said dispersion points and from at least one of said locking mechanisms and from at least one of said thermostatic members.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS TO ELECTRONICALLY LURE PEOPLE AT A BUILDING
A presence of a person at a first location within the building is detected using a sensor. Whether the presence of the person at the first location is acceptable is determined in response to detecting the presence of the person at the first location. Then, in response to determining that the presence of the person at the first location is unacceptable, an output device is triggered to output an electronic lure signal to lure the person to a second location that is distant from the first location. The electronic lure signal is based on a category of the person.
Threat detection and isolation system
A threat detection and isolation system is provided. The system includes a housing having an upper wall and a plurality of sidewalls extending therefrom defining an interior volume. A door is affixed to the housing on at least one of the plurality of sidewalls, the door providing access to the interior volume. A camera is disposed within the housing. At least one sensor is disposed within the housing, wherein the sensor can detect the presence of a predefined dangerous object within the interior volume. Upon detection of the presence of the predefined dangerous object, the door moves to a closed position and a lock engages the door, thereby preventing the door from moving to an open position. In some embodiments, a notification is sent to emergency services via a wireless communication system upon actuation of the sensor.
