INVISIBLE ACOUSTIC SAFE
The present disclosure describes a system and method designed to protect the contents of a region or space within a facility (e.g., building, home, vehicle, outdoor space, etc.). The system is configured to identify an area to be protected (e.g., nightstand, medicine cabinet, safe), monitor surroundings, and manage and deploy response(s) to threats to the region or space under protection. The system may also be configured to provide incremental warnings, interventions, or countermeasures to deter people or animals from accessing the Protected Space.
NON-LETHAL DISTRACTION AND GLASS, METHOD OF ENTRY DEVICES
When Law Enforcement and Military teams are entering a premises or hostile environment, they often use a distraction device to create temporary confusion and disorientation of target individuals. Conventional flash-bangs carry significant risk of collateral damage through fire, smoke inhalation, high temperature burns and fragmentation. The invention proposes a modular, reloadable, non-lethal solution offering various form factors. They significantly reduce/eliminate collateral damage. The devices utilise the same principle—single or multiple machined port(s), plus pyrotechnic ignitor. Gas pressure expanding inside each port ruptures a membrane. The release of this pressure creates a sound impulse. For GMOE (Glass method of Entry) Hand-held, Wired & RF initiated devices, gas pressure created by the ignitor functioning drives a captive hardened steel punch forward. The punch ruptures a membrane on the front face of the device breaking any glass it is in contact with.
SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHODS
Disclosed is a security system, and method of operating it, with the system including a controller with an associated processor, associated storage means, a power supply, and data communication means; with the system configured to receive and analyze data input from associated event sensors, according to predeterminable rules and parameters stored on the storage means for the processor to determine the presence of an alarm event and a predetermined set of responses and predetermined set of security outcomes to select a response to the alarm event with the aim of achieving a predetermined security outcome to protect the asset, and generating an output signal to at least one countermeasure device to activate the countermeasure device to deliver the selected response.

Detection of animal intrusions and control of a repellent mechanism for detected animal intrusions
An electronic apparatus and a method are provided for detection of animal intrusions and control of a repellent mechanism to prevent such intrusions. The electronic apparatus controls an image-capture device to acquire an image of a house yard and selects a set of zones in the acquired image based on a user-specified setting. The electronic apparatus detects an animal in the acquired image and controls the repellent mechanism based on a determination that the detected animal is in a zone which is among the selected set of zones, to target the detected animal.
