A notification control device includes: a sound notification controller sending a first notification control signal for causing a first device to provide a first notification, obtaining first response information to the first notification, and determining whether the first response information is in response to notification information; an image notification controller sending a second notification control signal for causing a second device to provide a second notification, obtaining second response information to the second notification, and determining whether the second response information is in response to the notification information; and a canceller sending a cancellation process signal for cancelling (a) the second notification when the sound notification controller determines that the first response information is in response to the notification information and (b) the first notification when the image notification controller determines that the second response information is in response to the notification information.

An electronic device, having a primary function different from detecting a fire, is configured for detecting a fire. The device includes processor circuitry, and a temperature sensor configured to generate temperature data, wherein the processor circuitry is configured to determine whether a first generated temperature data meets a first temperature criteria at a first time, and determine whether a second generated temperature data meets a second temperature criteria at a second time after the first time.

A system that provides an alarm or alert system for those that cannot communicate, or to notify another party when in a situation that needs immediate attention. It consists of a caregiver band, and at least one dependent band. The dependent bands have an infant size as well. The caregiver band has a transceiver that communicates with the dependent bands. The dependent band has a transceiver as well. The infant band has only a receiver. The caregiver and dependent bands each have a debossed button that when depressed sends a signal to the dependent band(s). This signal has a loud alarm, a flashing LED light and a vibration. To turn off the alarm, the caregiver can press the debossed button a second time, or, as sensor in the bands will shut off the alarm when the bands touch. In one model, an app for use with smartphones is also available.

The child monitoring system that is composed of a portable detector that detects the passage of a child or an adult through a linear perimeter and a receiver that receives an alarm from the portable detector. The detector is programmed to transmit an alarm when the detector detects a child has passed through the linear perimeter and the detector does not detect an adult passing through the linear perimeter within a period. If the system detects that a child has passed through the linear perimeter, then the system is programmed to determine if an adult has also passed thought the linear perimeter, if no adult passes through the linear perimeter within a period, then the detector will transmit a transmission to a wireless receiver that will alarm a caregiver of the child that the child has left the secured area.

A system, management device, SCBA and wearable device are provided. In one or more embodiments, a wearable device for use with a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is provided. The device includes device processing circuitry configured to: determine a wireless personal accountability report (PAR) signal has been received, and transition into an alarm state based on the received wireless PAR signal. The alarm state configured to trigger at least one notification while in the alarm state where the triggering of at least one notification is configured to recur until an indication is received.
