Systems, methods, and devices for locating items, people, and/or animals
Systems, methods, and devices for locating items, people, and/or animals are provided. In accordance with some embodiments, locator devices for locating a target device are provided, the locator devices comprising: a first transceiver configured to communicate with a second transceiver in the target device; a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver configured to receive data from a plurality of satellites for calculating a location; a visual indicator; and a hardware processor that: receives signals from the first transceiver; calculates an estimated distance between the locator device and a target device based on the signals; controls whether the GNSS receiver is powered on or off based on the estimated distance; and causes the visual indicator indicate an estimated direction to the target device from the locator device.
Method and apparatus for social distancing alarm systems
A system, method, and apparatus are provided to facilitate social distancing. The system issues alarms based on the distance between a user and an object and one or more variable social distancing thresholds. The system enables trade-offs between risk and a desire to have in-person interaction for different activities by using one or more variable social distancing thresholds that may be based on social distancing guidelines and various characteristics.
Wearable Device and System for Tracking and Sharing Vital Signs and Location of User
The present invention relates to a wearable smart appliance in the form of a wristwatch. The appliance is designed to track a user's vital signs and send real-time alerts to a paired electronic device for remote monitoring of the user. More specifically, the appliance tracks vital signs such as heart rate, and notifies a parent or guardian if the user is in danger. The appliance also includes a water sensor that activates an alert if the sensor is underwater for a certain length of time. A GPS sensor detects the current location of the user and is included in the real-time alerts during emergencies.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING SUPERVISION OF INDIVIDUALS BASED ON GEOFENCING
Disclosed herein is a method for facilitating supervision of individuals based on geofencing. Accordingly, the method may include receiving, using a communication device, a parameter from a supervisor device associated with a supervisor and a geographical location from the supervisor device. Further, the method may include analyzing, using a processing device, the geographical location based on a security parameter and generating a geofence corresponding to a geographical area based on the analyzing. Further, the method may include receiving, using the communication device, supervisee data associated with a supervisee from a supervisee device, including supervisee emergency input or nearby audio and video sensor data. Further, the method may include analyzing, using the processing device, the supervisee data based on the geofence and generating a supervision notification based on the analyzing of the supervisee data. Further, the method may include transmitting, using the communication device, the supervision notification to the supervisor device.
Location detection and danger alert warning using artificial intelligence
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method including assessing a danger level associated with an object; locating a target person and a caregiver; monitoring movement of an unsupervised target person relative to a boundary around the object; and providing a warning in a caregiver's voice if the person crosses the boundary. A content and volume of the warning, a direction of the warning with respect to a trajectory of movement of the person, and a tone of voice of the warning can be selected according to the danger level and a profile of the person. The method also includes initiating a distraction procedure directed to the person according to the profile; the distraction can include an audio message directing attention of the person to another object. Other embodiments are disclosed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING INDIVIDUALS WITHIN AN INTERIOR SPACE OF A VEHICLE
A system and methods for monitoring the interior of a vehicle for individuals and environmental hazards to prevent situations that could result in serious harm or loss of life is provided. The system generally comprises a vehicle having an interior space, processor operably connected to at least one sensor, power supply, and non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon. The system collects environmental data within the interior of a vehicle to determine conditions within said vehicle. When the conditions are determined to be hazardous based on environmental thresholds of the system, the system will determine whether an individual is currently exposed to the hazardous conditions within the vehicle. An alert may be sent by the system to a user's computing device should it detect an individual within the interior of the vehicle exposed to hazardous conditions.
WIRELESS BEHAVIOR CONTROL DEVICE
An “invisible” leash that wirelessly connects a pet device to a user device and provides signals to a pet device for controlling pet behavior is disclosed. The pet device can include one or more sensors and output devices to communicate instructions and control pet behavior.
ALERTING SYSTEM
A cargo alerting system that is self-arming. Placing a child in a car seat having sensors arms the system. A keyfob, or smartphone, which is carried by the user, outputs an alarm when the keyfob is moved farther than a pre-determined distance from the base, which may be in the car seat, or otherwise connected to a child in the vehicle. This preset distance could be any desired distance. The keyfob and alarm refocus the user's attention on the cargo within the vehicle.
DYNAMIC GEOFENCING-ENABLED PHYSIOLOGICAL RISK MONITORING SYSTEM IN PHYSICAL AND MIXED REALITY ENVIRONMENTS
According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for tracking positions and characteristics of one or more individuals in proximity to a user to dynamically assess a threat of physiological harm to the user is provided. The present invention may include identifying, by one or more sensors integrated into one or more wearable devices on the person of a user, one or more individuals in proximity to the user; generating a dynamic threshold corresponding to each of the one or more individuals; responsive to identifying one or more characteristics of the individual, updating the dynamic threshold; and responsive to a distance between an individual of the one or more individuals and the user falling below the dynamic threshold associated with the individual, transmitting an alert to the user.
Virtual boundary methods and systems
An exemplary virtual boundary system determines a refined geolocation of a tracking device based on a positioning signal and a correction signal that are accessed from distinct signal sources. The virtual boundary system compares the refined geolocation of the tracking device and a geographic boundary. Then, based on the comparing of the refined geolocation and the geographic boundary, the virtual boundary system provides an alert indicative of the refined geolocation with respect to the geographic boundary. Corresponding methods and systems are also disclosed.
