Wearable strap
A wearable strap 10 comprising releasable connection means 14 for securing the strap 10 around part of a person's body, a detector for wirelessly detecting an electronic device, a controller 16 programmed with at least one predetermined threshold for a distance between the strap 10 and electronic device, and at least one of: a) alert means 26a, 26b including at least a speaker or vibrator in the strap 10, and b) signalling means in the strap for sending a signal to a remote location, such as initiating an alert from the electronic device; the controller 16 being configured to use the detector to monitor the distance between the strap 10 and electronic device, and the controller 16 being configured to initiate the alert means 26a, 26b and/or signalling means to provide an audible or vibrating alert when the distance between the strap 10 and electronic device exceeds the predetermined threshold.
Remote control cover assembly
A cover assembly includes a main body, a closure member, gripping portions, and an identification tag. The main body defines an interior to receive a remote control and includes top, bottom, front, first and second side, and rear portions. The closure member is coupled to the rear portion and configured to move the rear portion between an open position, where a remote control is insertable into and removable from the interior, and a closed position, where the closure member is coupled to the bottom portion to secure the remote control within the interior. The multiple gripping portions are provided on the first and second side portions and configured to facilitate gripping of the cover assembly by a user. The identification tag includes a processor and is configured to communicate with an external device and operate to increase a conspicuity of the cover assembly for locating the cover assembly.
SYSTEMS FOR TRACKING MEDICATIONS
The present disclosure relates to integrated systems, methods and apparatuses for assisting individuals in managing acute life-threatening conditions. A system in accordance with the current disclosure may comprise an electronic circuit configured to be attached to a container of a medication and one or more devices in communication with the electronic circuit in a private network. In an aspect, the one or more devices may work in concert to determine the safety level of an individual based on predetermined usage settings. In some aspects, the system may be configured to determine whether a medication would expire before its manufactured expiry date. In another aspect, the system may assist an individual in locating a medication. In a further aspect, the system may determine whether an individual is having an anaphylactic reaction. In some aspects, the system may detect a known allergen and alert the individual.
Location detection and danger alert warning using artificial intelligence
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method including assessing a danger level associated with an object; locating a target person and a caregiver; monitoring movement of an unsupervised target person relative to a boundary around the object; and providing a warning in a caregiver's voice if the person crosses the boundary. A content and volume of the warning, a direction of the warning with respect to a trajectory of movement of the person, and a tone of voice of the warning can be selected according to the danger level and a profile of the person. The method also includes initiating a distraction procedure directed to the person according to the profile; the distraction can include an audio message directing attention of the person to another object. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Systems and methods for textural zone identification
Various embodiments of the present invention provide systems and method for identifying three-dimensional zone areas for use in relation to the monitoring of physical movement of a target monitor device.
WEARABLE MONITORING DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A wearable monitoring device for securely remaining coupled to a user and recording data pertaining to the user is provided. The device includes a main body, which has a display for viewing, a magnet for aligning the main body to other objects, a rechargeable battery for powering the main body and a computing module for storing, transferring and analyzing data. The device also includes a band extending from a first end of the main body to a second end of the main body for permitting coupling of the device to a user. The band may include anti-tampering features for preventing uncoupling of the device from a user without detection
System and method for providing an early warning to a victim of domestic violence or stalking
A system for alerting a victim of a presence of an offender, the system includes a first bracelet configured to be worn by the victim, the first bracelet including a first GPS receiver, a first wireless network transceiver, a speaker or a vibration motor, and a display element, wherein the first wireless network transceiver comprises a wireless cellular network transceiver or a WiFi transceiver. The system also includes a second bracelet configured to be worn by the offender. A cloud-based monitor system including a computing device and a memory configured to receive data from the first bracelet and the second bracelet and perform appropriate actions as necessary. Each bracelet may include a mechanical lock having at least a first fastener, a second fastener, and/or a third fastener, to provide, respectively, one, two or three levels of security for the device.
ELECTRONIC TAG
An electronic tag can be secured to a body of a person. The electronic tag has an antenna which transmits or receives an electromagnetic signal. An inductive proximity sensor determines a proximity of a metallic object to the electronic tag, based on electromagnetic coupling between the inductive proximity sensor and the metallic object. The inductive proximity sensor determines, based on the proximity being below a proximity threshold, that a metallic object is attenuating the electromagnetic signal transmitted or received by the antenna.
Multifunctional Telemetry Apparatus for real-time emergency support
Multifunctional telemetry apparatus for real-time emergency support comprising biosensors set of electrical biosensors set, green LEDs, red LEDs, infrared LEDs, near infrared LEDs and photodetector set and temperature biosensor, accelerometer, pressure sensor set and wireless antenna, which enables the life-support network to infer and monitor user's present condition through a plurality of real-time biological information, clinical emergency conditions, movement data and events of victimizer unstrapping the apparatus. The embodiments of the multifunctional telemetry apparatus to track emergency situations through analysis of tracking information even in moving conditions or victimizer based emergency situation without active inputs or active involvement from user.
