Systems and methods for securing command and data interfaces to sensors and devices through the use of a protected security zone
Various embodiments of the invention increase security of a network of interoperable devices. In certain embodiments, this is accomplished by a security module that uses a user-definable security policy that sets forth one or more tests for validating input data or commands received from an IoT device. A validator receives the command via a command controller and performs a security analysis of the command according to the security policy. Responsive to the security analysis, the validator generates a validation signal in order to authorize or reject further processing of the command.

A distress situation recognizing and remote assistance summoning device for recognizing a distress situation which may be encountered by a transport vehicle, and for summoning assistance via a wireless communications link is shown and described. The device may be self-contained in one unit and clamped to a tube member of the vehicle. The device includes microprocessor, a battery, a power cable connectable to a vehicle electrical system, accelerometer and gyroscope for sensing impacts, GPS capability, wireless communications capability for summoning assistance, an annunciator for annunciating transmission of an assistance request, a manual assistance request feature, a request cancellation feature, a delay feature delaying the assistance request, a visible and an audible beacon annunciating location of the vehicle, and a coverage annunciator signaling that the vehicle is in an area not in potential communication with a recipient of the request for assistance.

The method includes: when an alarm function of the DECT terminal is triggered, recording an account of the DECT terminal, matching an emergency contact based on the account of the DECT terminal, and establishing alarm communication with the emergency contact; and after establishing the alarm communication between the DECT terminal and the emergency contact, sending location information of a network base station connected to the DECT terminal to a device of the emergency contact, such that the device of the emergency contact obtains an alarm call of the DECT terminal and displays the location information of the network base station connected to the DECT terminal.
Accident warning light
An accident warning light includes a post assembly and a warning light assembly and is used to monitor a roadway for accidents. The post assembly is further comprised of a post base, a support post, and a post mount and is used to support the warning light assembly. The warning light assembly is further comprised of a top cap, an electrical slot, an angled lip, a strobe socket, a strobe bulb, a strobe lens, and at least one sensor. The divider further has at least one aperture to connect the warning light assembly to the post assembly.
