Devices, systems, and methods for public address system action auditing are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a computing device comprising a memory and a processor to execute instructions stored in the memory to access an event log associated with an event in a facility, compare the event log with a predefined configuration file associated with a public address system of the facility, and generate a report about the event based on the comparison.

Emergency lighting system with integrated testing and reporting functionality
11805591 · 2023-10-31 · ·

An emergency lighting system provides testing and reporting functionality in a rapidly repeatable fashion for environments with numerous emergency lighting units. In one or more embodiments, the emergency lighting system comprises a plurality of emergency lighting units capable of conducting one or more tests and reporting their operating condition as test results. One or more terminals receive and aggregate the test results and present the same to a user. Emergency lighting units having an undesirable operating condition can then be readily identified and addressed.

Configuring devices in control systems

Aspects of the invention are directed towards method system and devices assisting the configuration, installation and maintenance of the devices in a system. The invention describes integrating a digitized map on a user terminal. The digitized map comprises positions for configuring one or more devices. The user terminal receives position co-ordinates and configuration information of each of the one or more devices. The user terminal requests configuration for one or more devices and receives the configuration based on the configuration information. The received configuration is transmitted to the one or more thereby configuring the one or more devices.

Automated testing of emergency lights

The subject disclosure relates to solutions for testing lighting systems and in particular, for verifying lighting system operability in the event of a power failure. A process of the disclosed technology can include steps for receiving an interrupt command, toggling an interrupt relay in response to the interrupt command, and measuring one or more lighting characteristics of the lighting array to determine if the second power supply can power the lighting array. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

DEVICE FOR GENERATING SOUND MESSAGES AND ASSOCIATED VERIFICATION METHOD

The present invention relates to a device for generating sound messages, comprising: a generation chain configured to generate a first and a second sound signal carrying a useful audio signal and a test audio signal; a conversion chain configured to transform the first and second sound signals into first and second analog signals; and a verification chain configured to extract the test audio signal from a combination of the analog signals to verify the integrity of the useful audio signal.
The first sound signal corresponds to the sum of the test audio signal and the useful audio signal, and the second sound signal corresponds to the sum of the test audio signal and an opposite signal corresponding to the opposite of the useful audio signal.

EVENT DEVICE MAINTENANCE

Devices, systems, and methods for event device maintenance are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a mobile device comprising a user interface, a memory, and a processor to execute instructions stored in the memory to receive an inventory including a group of event devices, generate a device identification analysis for the group of event devices, display on the user interface the device identification analysis, receive an input for an event device of the group to take an audit action, and initiate the audit action to be taken by the event device of the group in response to the input.
