SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING EVACUATION MONITORING AND ASSISTANCE
Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for providing evacuation guidance. An implementation may comprise identifying a person physically present in an environment requiring an evacuation. The implementation further includes detecting, using at least one sensor in the environment, a last known location of the person. The implementation further includes calculating an exit time for evacuating the environment based on the last known location. The implementation further includes monitoring, using at least one sensor located at an egress point of the environment, whether the person has evacuated the environment. The implementation further includes determining whether a current time has passed the exit time. The implementation further includes transmitting an alert to a device of the respective person in response to determining that the current time has passed the exit time and that the person has not evacuated the environment.
PROVIDING EMERGENCY EGRESS GUIDANCE VIA PEER-TO-PEER COMMUNICATION AMONG DISTRIBUTED EGRESS ADVISEMENT DEVICES
A peer-to-peer system for providing egress guidance. Each of a plurality of egress advisement devices can receive an indication of an emergency in a building and user presence information, transmit to a cloud data store a request for one or more egress plans, receive from the cloud data store a subset of the egress plans that are identified by matching a location identifier for each of the subset of the plans with the location information of the egress advisement device, locally select one of the subset of the plans that is customized for a location of the egress advisement device, a current location of users in the building in proximity to the egress advisement device, and a location of the emergency, and output the selected plan to guide one or more of the users in proximity to the egress advisement device to exit the building.
Heads up mass notification
Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatus, and systems for mass notification including receiving the message from an alarm notification device via a link and causing the projector to project the message on a surface using the light patterns.
VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION MACHINE GUIDANCE DEVICE AND VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION MACHINE GUIDANCE METHOD
There is provided an elevator guidance device 40 including an identification information acquisition unit 41 configured to acquire identification information for a user heading for an elevator hall, a selected elevator information acquisition unit 42 configured to acquire information on a selected elevator selected from a plurality of elevators as an elevator for the user identified to take, and a guidance indication unit 43 configured to indicate, in an indication mode associated with the user, a leading guidance sign on a route starting from a leading start position, at which leading of the user identified is started, to a landing entrance of the selected elevator, the leading guidance sign leading the user to the landing entrance of the selected elevator.
COGNITIVE FIREFIGHTING ASSISTANCE
A processor may receive data regarding an emergency event. The processor may identify, using an artificial intelligence model, one or more features regarding the emergency event. The processor may determine that the one or more features are associated with one or more emergency response tasks. The processor may generate an action plan that incorporates the one or more emergency response tasks. The processor may output the action plan to a user.
AN INFORMATION DISTRUBITION SYSTEM FOR A LOCAL AREA
A system for communicating information to a person in a local area. The system includes a device arranged noticeable by the person and a power source arranged to power the device. The system further includes a relay arranged in-between the power source and the device, and a control unit arranged to generate a control signal in response to an event. The relay is arranged to connect the device to the power source in absence of the control signal, and to temporarily disconnect the device from the power source in response to the control signal generated by the control unit, thereby communicating the information to the person.
Group identification and monitoring
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for group identification and monitoring. The methods, systems, and apparatus include actions of determining, using one or more first frames of a video sequence, that two people each of whom is depicted in at least one of the first frames satisfy a grouping criteria that indicates that the two people should be grouped for video analysis, determining, using one or more second frames of the video sequence at least some of which were captured after the one or more first frames and which depict at least one of the two people, that the two people satisfy a degrouping criteria that indicates that the two people should not be grouped for video analysis, determining that a physical distance between the two people violates a distance criteria, and providing an alert that the distance criteria is violated.
OCCUPANT TRAFFIC OPTIMIZATION
An aspect of the present disclosure includes a notification device configured for mounting on a surface including a projector configured to display light patterns on the surface; a projection control module (PCM) communicatively coupled with the projector, wherein the PCM is configured to receive, from a control panel, a message in response to a number of occupants exceeding an occupant threshold in a zone of an infrastructure; and cause the projector to display at least a portion of the message on the surface using the light patterns.
DYNAMIC AND/OR ADAPTIVE SIGNPOSTING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a dynamic and/or adaptive signposting system (10), comprising at least one sensor (11a-e) that is designed to sense a physical variable relevant to the route guidance, at least one display device (13, 13a-c) that comprises a dynamic display (21), wherein the dynamic display (21) is designed to retain a displayed image in an unpowered state, a control unit (15) that is designed to ascertain a control signal on the basis of the physical variable relevant to the route guidance, wherein the control unit (15) is furthermore designed to actuate the at least one display device (13, 13a-c) by way of the control signal so as to display an image stored in full or in part beforehand on the dynamic display (21).
Smartlock system for improved fire safety
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage mediums, for a smartlock device that can be integrated in a door at a property. The smartlock device includes a locking mechanism configured to lock the door and to unlock the door. The device includes a radio device and a sensor that determines a first temperature of the smartlock device and a second temperature of a room that is accessible via the door. The radio device is operable to: i) receive parameter signals from the sensor indicating each of the first and second temperatures; ii) transmit data that includes the first and second temperatures to a monitoring system; and iii) receive a command to cause the locking mechanism to unlock the door based on information from the monitoring system. The information includes a determined routing of occupants at the property and is presented on a display of the device.
