EVACUATION GUIDANCE SYSTEM
Problem; To provide an evacuation guidance system which is capable of safely and reliably guiding evacuees in response to the outbreak and spread of a fire.
Solution; An evacuation guidance system is configured from multiple sensor modules 20, network lines 30, guidance indicators 40, and a guidance control device 50. Each sensor module includes multiple input/output port pairs, fire detection sensors, and a data control unit. The multiple input/output port pairs are connected to input/output port pairs of other sensor modules by means of network lines, thereby configuring a mesh-like autonomous network. The data control unit: generates and outputs fire data after adding fire location data; upon receiving fire data, outputs the fire data after adding its own route flag; and stops the output of fire data when the fire data contains its own route flag. Upon identifying the location of the fire outbreak from the fire data, the guidance control device calculates optimum evacuation routes and causes the guidance indicators to turn on/off or flash.

HUMAN-MACHINE INTERFACE DEVICE FOR BUILDING SYSTEMS
A human-machine interface device can be arranged on a building. The device can include a communication device, a recording device, an optical projection module and a control device. The communication device sends and receives data signals via a communication network, and the recording device records data relating to a user. The control device is configured to transmit user data recorded by the recording device to a control system of a building system and to control the optical projection module based on routing information. The optical projection module is configured to project routing information relating to the user and visible to the user onto a projection surface.
Building egress lighting apparatus, system, method and computer program product
A modular and decentralized architecture for building illuminated means of egress from a device level to a building system level wherein a plurality of communicatively networked building egress devices with processing capability coupled to sensing and output devices and governed by an artificial intelligence (AI) engine establish local device self-awareness that enhances building life safety performance while providing utility to other building disciplines.
Gunshot detection system with forensic data retention, live audio monitoring, and two-way communication
A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units with microphones for detecting gunshots and capturing audio data depicting the detected gunshots and other ambient sounds, an environmental board with various environmental sensors for generating environmental data indicating environmental conditions. The audio data, environmental data, and position information can be stored locally on local nonvolatile storage of the gunshot sensor unit for later retrieval by law enforcement entities. In one embodiment, the gunshot sensor units include a wired and/or wireless data transfer interface for transferring the audio data, environmental data and/or position information to handheld units of law enforcement entities. The gunshot sensor unit can also stream live captured audio data for live monitoring by a control panel, and might also include speakers for providing audio playback of audio data from the control panel.
AUTONOMOUS MANAGEMENT AND NOTIFICATION ON BUILDING PATHWAYS
Disclosed herein are apparatuses and methods for managing building pathway information. A building and/or security management system can detect, based on receiving input from multiple sensor devices, a possible safety issue in a first pathway to an egress of a building, determine, based on detecting the possible safety issue and based on information regarding other pathways in the building, a second pathway to the egress of the building, and indicate at least the second pathway to another system.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR GUIDING EVACUATION BY USING LASER
The present invention relates to a device and a method for guiding evacuation by using laser and, specifically, to a device and a method wherein, in the case of fire or power outage, laser beams can be emitted to guide an evacuation direction or an emergency exit position. The present invention may comprise: a laser beam generation module for emitting laser beams; a rotation module coupled to the laser beam generation module so as to rotate the laser beam generation module; and a control module for controlling an operation of at least one of the laser beam generation module and the rotation module, wherein the control module controls at least one of the laser beam generation module and the rotation module on the basis of a driving mode configured by a user.
BUILDING SECURITY AND EMERGENCY DETECTION AND ADVISEMENT SYSTEM
Disclosed are systems and methods for providing distributed security event monitoring. The system can include a central monitoring system and sensor devices positioned throughout a premises that passively detect conditions and emit signals guiding people on the premises when a security event is detected. The sensor devices can include suites of sensors and can transmit detected conditions to the central monitoring system. The central monitoring system can combine the detected conditions to generate a collective of detected conditions, determine whether the collective of detected conditions exceeds expected threshold conditions, identify a security event on the premises based on the collective of detected conditions, classify the security event using machine learning models, generate instructions to produce audio or visual output at the sensor devices that notifies people on the premises about the security event, and transmit the instructions to the sensor devices to emit signals indicating information about the security event.
Real-time managing evacuation of a building
The present disclosure relates an evacuation management system, EMS, (40, 52, 60, 00, 200) operative to provide real-time evacuation information for evacuation of a building, triggered by alarm notification (S202). Based on determined (S214) precise real-time positions of personal ultra-wide band, UWB, devices, as determined by UWB real-time localization system, RTLS, a controller determines (S210) evacuation plans being personal UWB device specific in real-time. Based on individual evacuation plans and input from building facilities, real-time guidance information is defined (S208) and sent to each personal UWB device, providing guidance to person carrying said personal UWB device, in what direction to move (S212), to reach a safe area. Based on localization signals the UWB RTLSA then calculates updated positions of the personal UWB devices and sends to the evacuation management system. It is an advantage that trapped or injured people can be found, even in low visibility areas.
Emergency drone guidance device
Techniques are described for configuring a monitoring system to assist users during a detected emergency condition at a property. In some implementations, sensor data from one or more sensors that are located at the property are obtained by a monitoring system that is configured to monitor the property. A determination that there is an emergency condition at the property is made by the monitoring system based on the sensor data, determining. A location of a person inside the property is determined by the monitoring system based on the sensor data. A first path to the person and a second path to guide the person away from the emergency condition are determined by the monitoring system. The first path to the person and the second path to guide the person away from the emergency condition are navigated by a computing device of the monitoring system.
