WIRELESS BATTERY SYSTEM, AND WIRELESS SYSTEM
There is provided a wireless battery system reconcilable with unsuccessful communication due to interference from an external wireless instrument or radio wave reflection or shielding under a surrounding physical environment. A wireless battery system allocates a cell controller to a cell, detects a cell state, and wirelessly communicates a cell state detected by a cell controller to a battery controller. During the wireless communication, the battery controller transmits a beacon to the cell controller and specifies a duration for radio wave environment measurement and a frequency to be measured as a condition. The cell controller performs radio wave environment measurement under the specified condition and then returns a measurement result along with the cell state to the battery controller.
Vehicle and remote operation system
A vehicle includes: a permission unit configured to permit a remote operation performed by a remote operation device provided outside the vehicle; a transmission unit configured to transmit surrounding information of the vehicle; a reception unit configured to receive a remote operation signal input by an operator outside the vehicle via the remote operation device; a traveling control unit configured to control the vehicle to travel based on the remote operation signal; a drive data acquisition unit configured to acquire drive data input by a driver in the vehicle; and a handover determination unit configured to determine, while the remote operation is permitted by the permission unit, that handover of a driving operation of the vehicle to the remote operation is allowed when a difference between the drive data acquired by the drive data acquisition unit and the remote operation signal is within a predetermined range.
Electrical device for actuating a vacuum cleaner
An electric device in the shape of a machine tool or an energy storage module for the electric power supply of a machine tool, with the energy storage module having a module housing with a device interface for the detachable connection to the machine tool, with the machine tool having a drive motor to drive a tool holder on which a tool provided to process a workpiece is arranged or is arrangeable, with the drive motor being switchable using a switching element of the machine tool and/or the energy storage module, with the electric device having a wireless communication interface for wireless communication with an external communication apparatus, which forms part of a vacuum cleaner provided to suction dust generated by the machine tool and with the wireless communication interface being designed to send at least one control command to control, the vacuum cleaner as a function of a switching status of the switching element to the external communication apparatus via a wireless control connection.
Modules with communication interfaces
An example module includes: a radio to communicate with a sensor; a communication interface to communicate with a second module; a chassis to mate with the second module; and a processor connected to the radio, the communication interface, and a memory, the processor to execute instructions stored in the memory. The instructions are to: receive, via the radio, sensor data from the sensor; process the sensor data to generate processed sensor data; and transmit the processed sensor data to a remote device.
Relay Attack Determination Device
A strength meter in a relay attack determination device is disposed on a portable device and measures a reception strength by a plurality of times in each of a request signal and a request signal received from an in-vehicle device. A comparator executes a comparative process of the request signal and the request signal by using average values of the reception strength measured by the strength meter. A variation calculator calculates variation in the reception strength measured by a plurality of times in the strength meter regarding the request signal. The comparator, in a case where the variation in the reception strength exceeds a threshold value indicating a communication failure in the request signal, determines the relay attack regardless of a result of the comparative process.
COMMUNICATION DEVICE
There is provided a communication device that is to be disposed on an exterior of a mobile object, the communication device comprising a first antenna configured to transmit a signal for estimating a distance between the first antenna and other communication device in conformity with a first communication standard, wherein directivity of the signal transmitted by the first antenna is formed in such a manner that null related to the directivity is oriented to a front-rear direction of the mobile object.
Terminal, cooking appliance communicating therewith and method of controlling cooking appliance
Disclosed herein is a cooking appliance including a communicator configured to perform communication with a terminal, an input unit configured to receive information from a user, and a controller configured to, when information on time until which remote control using the terminal is available is received via at least one of the communicator and the input unit, control the communication with the terminal. According to the present disclosure, by allowing a user to set a time at which a remote control mode is automatically cancelled after cooking is finished, the remote control is available during a time set by the user even after cooking is finished, and thus the usability of the remote control mode can be improved. According to the present disclosure, by limiting performance time of the remote control mode to be within a preset amount of time and limiting an infinite input of a remote control command into a terminal while the remote control mode is activated, a network error can be prevented, and erroneous operation of a cooking appliance due to hacking can be prevented.
SAFETY DEVICE FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATIONS
The present disclosure is directed to a safety device for photovoltaic installations. The safety device includes a first terminal adapted to connect to a first output terminal of a solar panel, a second terminal adapted to connect to a second output terminal of the solar panel, a first switching module connected between the first terminal and the second terminal. The first switching module comprising a first switch and a first impedance connected in series. The first impedance includes one terminal connected to the first terminal and the first switch includes one terminal connected to the second terminal. A control module is adapted to read a control signal and drive the operation of the first switch based on the read value of the control signal. A powersupply means is adapted to supply power to the control module.
METHOD FOR ASSOCIATING AN OBJECT WITH A USER, DEVICE, OBJECT, AND CORRESPONDING COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A method for associating a communicating object with at least one user. A remote server receives a signal requesting an association between an user identifier and an object identifier. The server verifies an authorization for the association between the object identifier and the user identifier, including verification of whether or not there is pre-existing association of the object identifier with at least one other user identifier. If association is authorized, the object identifier is associated with the user identifier in a database which can be accessed by the remote server. The database includes at least one user identifier list and one object identifier list.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENHANCED TELEMATICS SECURITY THROUGH SECONDARY CHANNEL
A system includes a processor configured to wirelessly receive a vehicle system command from a remote source over a first communication channel. The processor is also configured to open a second communication channel with an apparent command-originating source, responsive to receiving the command. The processor is further configured to request, over the second communication channel, verification that the command originated from the apparent command-originating source and execute the command responsive to command-origin verification.
