ENHANCED NAVIGATION AND RIDE HAILING

A system for navigation and ride hailing that provides options for navigating traffic through express lanes or the like. Information, such as express lane profile information, toll price information for the express lane during a period, and traffic information along one or more paths may be used to determine the fastest options along to a destination at different toll price points.

Optimization of battery pack size using swapping

Embodiments are directed to managing battery pack exchanges for an electric vehicle by maintaining current swap station information for a number of battery pack swap stations, receiving navigation information from the vehicle indicating a travel route of the vehicle, and receiving current vehicle information from the vehicle and related to a battery pack installed in the vehicle. A battery pack swap plan can be determined based on the swap station information, the navigation information, and the vehicle information. The plan can indicate a selected replacement battery pack at each of one or more selected battery pack swap stations. Information defining the battery pack swap plan can be provided to the selected battery pack swap stations and the vehicle. The stations can reserve the selected replacement battery pack and the vehicle can update the travel route based on the battery pack swap plan.

LOCATION-AWARE REMINDERS

A method for managing location-aware reminders in an automobile includes monitoring a geographic location of the automobile using a computer system installed in the vehicle. The computer system detects that the automobile has entered a geographic region associated with a location-aware reminder and issues a reminder message associated with the location-aware reminder to a driver of the automobile based on the detecting.

Adjusting insurance policies based on common driving routes and other risk factors

A computer implemented method for providing insurance comprises receiving a plurality of vehicle data including a start point, an end point and a frequency value. The method further comprises analyzing the plurality of vehicle data to determine a driving route associated with the vehicle. The method also comprises determining, based on the frequency value, that the driving route is a common driving route and a risk level of the common driving route. The method further comprises processing one or more insurance options, including pricing and underwriting, based at least in part on the risk level of the common driving route.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ROUTE RECONSTRUCTION

A systems and methods for ridesharing are provided. The systems and method can include splitting a plurality of GPS locations for a given vehicle into segments, determining a most probable location for each GPS location, and reconstructing the route, for a fleet of ridesharing vehicles.

TRANSPORT-RELATED EFFICIENCY MANAGEMENT

An example operation includes one or more of determining a transport, in a group of transports associated with a date of disposition, is operating below an efficiency threshold of the group of transports, and limiting transports, in the group of transports, that are operating most above the efficiency threshold, from performing functionality until the group of transports is at the efficiency threshold.

CLICKABLE ACCESS POINT

Systems and methods herein describe receiving a target location from a computing device, using a machine learning model: determining a first access point and a second access point associated with the target location, causing presentation of the first access point as a first selectable user interface element and the second access point as a second selectable user interface within a graphical user interface on the computing device, receiving a first selection of the first selectable user interface element from the computing device; and in response to receiving the first selection, and initiating a trip request based on the refined map coordinates of the first access point.

Providing users with access to routes for traveling

Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing users with access to a route for travelling. A user, of a client device, may send a request for access to the route to a route planning service. The route may correspond to a starting location and an ending location. The route planning service may query a route database to identify an entry indicating that a restricted access road segment (e.g., a high occupancy vehicle lane, a shoulder lane, a bus lane, etc.) and/or a road segment (e.g., comprising a traffic light alteration capability) exists between the starting location and the ending location. Responsive to successfully authorizing the user for travelling the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, the route, comprising the restricted access road segment and/or the road segment, may be provided to the client device.

Vehicle, server communicating with the same, and method of controlling the same

Disclosed are a vehicle, a server communicating with the vehicle, and a method for controlling the vehicle to communicate with the server and a second vehicle. The vehicle may include a communicator configured to communicate with the server and the second vehicle; a storage configured to store an application for a group driving mode with the second vehicle; and a controller configured to control the application when the group driving mode is selected and to exchange compensation for a service corresponding to the group driving mode with digital assets through the server.

Systems and methods for generating calm or quiet routes

Systems and methods for generating calm or quiet routes are provided. When a user requests navigation directions and indicates a preference for a calm route, a plurality of routes between the origin location and the destination location requested by the user may be identified. Historical sensor data (e.g., including heart rate data, exterior vehicle noise level data, accelerometer data) and traffic data associated with route segments of each of the routes may be analyzed to identify indications of calmness associated with each route segment. Current traffic data associated with the route segments may be analyzed to assign a traffic score representing a level of congestion along the segment and corresponding to a level of insurance risk associated with traversing the segment. Based at least in part upon the indications of calmness and the traffic score associated with each route segment, a route may be selected and presented to the user.
