SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLAYING AIRCRAFT ROLL RATE ON A VERTICAL TAKE-OFF AND LANDING AIRCRAFT DISPLAY
Systems and methods are provided for displaying roll rate on a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft display. Aircraft roll data is received from at least one geospatial sensor of the VTOL aircraft. A roll rate scale associated with a desirable roll rate range of the VTOL aircraft is generated. An aircraft roll rate of the VTOL aircraft is determined based on the aircraft roll data. The VTOL aircraft display, including a graphical representation of the roll rate scale and the aircraft roll rate with respect to the roll rate scale, is generated for display on the display device.
OPTIMIZATION OF FLIGHT ROUTES FOR EMISSIONS
Systems and methods for optimizing energy usage and/or emissions for a given flight by providing an optimum profile for an aerial vehicle. The systems can utilize weather data and a performance model of the aerial vehicle to calculate energy usage by the aerial vehicle at various altitudes and speeds along the flight route. The systems can further determine the optimal altitude and speed profile along the flight route for the aerial vehicle, which defines the altitudes along the flight route that result in the minimum energy usage for the aerial vehicle. The systems can further provide reports to users.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO INTEGRATE VEHICLE INFORMATION FOR EFFECTIVE COORDINATED MISSIONS
A method and system to integrate information in a coordinated mission of a group of user vehicles is provided. The method comprises storing a call sign in a database for each user vehicle, among the group of user vehicles, in the coordinated mission; and identifying a speaker vehicle among the user vehicles by comparing a call sign from parts of speech (POS) with the stored call signs. The method further comprises highlighting the identified speaker vehicle in a common display of each user vehicle; and determining whether the POS from the speaker vehicle contains a reference to a point of interest (POI). The method generates a graphical symbol for the POI when the POS from the speaker vehicle contains a reference to the POI, and tags the graphical symbol at a location of the POI in the common display of each user vehicle.
LATCHED TURN DIRECTION FUNCTION AND INDICATION
A method and system for determining and displaying a turn to a heading entry for an aircraft has been developed. First, a preliminary heading selection and a preliminary turn direction are entered into an automated flight control system (AFCS) for an aircraft. The preliminary heading selection and the preliminary turn direction are displayed to a pilot of the aircraft. A subsequent heading selection is entered into the AFCS while the aircraft is engaged in turning to the preliminary heading selection in the preliminary turn direction. A shortest turn radius to the subsequent heading selection is determined. A determination is made if the shortest turn radius to the subsequent heading selection is the same direction and the preliminary turn direction and a notice is displayed to the pilot of the aircraft is the shortest turn radius to the subsequent heading selection is not the same direction and the preliminary turn direction.

DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING DISPLAY CONTROL PROGRAM
A display control device includes processing circuitry to estimate a second mobile object as a mobile object having an abnormal approach period out of a plurality of relevant mobile objects, to make a display device display a two-dimensional coordinate system formed by a first coordinate axis representing positions from a start point to an end point of a first predicted trajectory by distances and a second coordinate axis representing a time, a line indicating the first predicted trajectory, and an abnormal approach region indicating ranges of the position and the time of the second mobile object, and to make the display device display a display component, and upon receiving input information for moving the display component, to correct the first predicted trajectory so that the line indicating the first predicted trajectory does not overlap with the abnormal approach region.
