The system comprises a module configured to receive flight plan data associated with a plurality of journeys between an origin and destination wherein each journey is associated with a different aircraft and wherein the flight plan data comprises flight schedule data associated with the plurality of different journeys; a second module coupled to the first module wherein the second module is configured to determine an aircraft taxi time, EXOT, based on the flight plan data; a third module coupled to the first module and the second module wherein the third module is configured to determine a target take-off time, TTOT, associated with each of the plurality of different journeys wherein the target take-off time is determined based on the taxi time, EXOT, and the flight plan data.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GEO-FENCING DEVICE COMMUNICATIONS

An aerial vehicle includes a communication unit configured to receive a wireless signal from a geo-fencing device, and a flight controller configured to generate one or more control signals that cause the aerial vehicle to operate in accordance with a set of flight regulations generated based on the wireless signal. The geo-fencing device is configured not for landing of the aerial vehicle. The set of flight regulations includes rules for controlling at least one of the aerial vehicle, a carrier carried by the aerial vehicle, or a payload of the aerial vehicle.

DRONE TO DRONE COMMUNICATION AND TASK ASSIGNMENT

An example operation may provide receiving, at a server, one or more communications from a drone, determining the one or more communications identify a drone identifier and a current time, determining whether the one or more communications were received within a time window, assigning a token to the identified drone indicating the drone is active, and storing the token as a transaction in memory.

The invention concerns a suborbital space traffic control system that comprises: a radar system configured to monitor a predetermined suborbital region and detect and track objects in the predetermined suborbital region. The objects include vehicles and space debris; and a suborbital space traffic monitoring system configured to: receive, from the radar system, tracking data related to the objects detected and tracked by the radar system; monitor, on the basis of the tracking data, trajectories of the objects in the predetermined suborbital region using one or more predetermined machine-learning techniques to detect potentially hazardous situations for the vehicles in the predetermined suborbital region; and, if it detects a potentially hazardous situation for one or more given vehicles, transmit corresponding alarm messages to the given vehicle(s).

Air traffic control flight management

Methods, devices, and systems for air traffic control (ATC) flight management are described herein. One device includes a memory, and a processor to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to receive airport information associated with an airport, generate, using the airport information, an ATC flight management analysis that includes an airport map showing locations of aircraft at the airport and a card panel including a number of flight cards, where each respective one of the number of flight cards corresponds to a different respective one of the aircraft at the airport, and a user interface to display the ATC flight management analysis in a single integrated display.

Conflict detection and avoidance along a current route of a robot

A method is provided for detecting and avoiding conflict along a current route of a robot. The method includes accessing a trajectory of the robot on the current route of the robot, and a predicted trajectory of a nearby moving object, and from the trajectory and predicted trajectory, detecting a conflict between the robot and the nearby moving object. Alternate routes for the robot are determined, each of which includes an alternative route segment offset from the current route, and a transition segment from the current route to the alternative route segment. Routes including the current and alternative routes are evaluated according to a cost metric, and a route from the routes is selected for use in at least one of guidance, navigation or control of the robot to avoid the conflict.

Secure ground-based detection and alert system and method
12198564 · 2025-01-14 ·

A system and method that detect potential collision conflicts involving uncrewed aircraft systems and generate alerts of such potential conflicts. The invention integrates existing radar systems from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Defense (DOD) within a secure federal facility. This integration facilitates the provision of both raw and supplemental data to autonomous or remotely piloted aircraft. The system and method assist in conflict detection and provide alerts in a standardized format that can be used by the aircraft's operator while preserving the confidentiality of sensitive flight data.
