Apparatus and Method for a Personalized Reminder with Intelligent Self-Monitoring
The system and method disclosed collects user reported, self-monitored On-task/Off-task Behavior, Fidgeting Behaviors and Walking/Running behaviors as quantified by motion sensors and an intelligent scheduling system. The collected data tells the reminder device what environment a user is scheduled to be in at any point in time in order to appropriately collect behavioral information and use said information to encourage users to be mindful of their own actions and behaviors in order to increase time spent on-task.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO TEACH AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE
A system to learn American Sign Language that includes: a plurality of portals accessible through a software application, wherein said plurality of portals enable a user to engage in interactive learning experiences; a first level of engagement for each portal; and a second level of engagement for each portal, where each second level provides an interactive platform for the use of the system. The plurality of portals includes a lesson portal, a dictionary portal, a gaming portal, a history portal, a news portal, a contact portal and a support portal. The lesson portal includes a vocabulary option, tests and quizzes and a plurality of American Sign Language lessons. Preferably, the plurality of American Sign Language lessons including a Phase 1 level and a Phase 2 level. Users may complete tests and quizzes after completion of lessons to assess their learning progress.
Pre-disaster education system
A pre-disaster banking system including a mobile conditions monitoring center including a vehicle having a system controller including: a device processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium including instructions to perform the following steps: receiving location data from a personal electronic device of a user; receiving forecast data regarding a predicted disaster; making a first determination, based on the received location data and the received forecast data, that the personal electronic device is located in an area that is expected to be affected by the predicted disaster; receiving banking information for the user; making a second determination that the user is scheduled to receive a payroll deposit that could be affected by the predicted disaster; and determining, based on the first determination and the second determination, a banking transaction to be executed for the user at a predetermined time relative to the predicted time of occurrence of the predicted disaster.
Tactical Training Tool
A tactical training device simulates disposable chemical light sticks (ChemLights) used in military and first responder operations. The device comprises a durable, reusable body with a hexagonal cross-section, dimensionally similar to standard ChemLights. A quick release clip attached to one end facilitates easy attachment to and removal from carrying cords. The device may be color-coded and customized with printed information. An alternative embodiment includes an internal LED system activated by removing the device from a carrying cord, providing a light-up feature. The invention enables cost-effective, environmentally friendly tactical training in various scenarios, including room clearing, perimeter marking, signaling, and low-light navigation. Methods of use and construction are also disclosed. The device offers a realistic, reusable alternative to disposable ChemLights for training purposes, reducing costs and environmental impact while maintaining exercise authenticity.

An apparatus for incentivizing a usage of a waste disposal device by a user. The apparatus includes a sensor configured for monitoring a parameter associated with the waste disposal device, a processor, and an auxiliary device. The processor is configured for obtaining an information based on the monitoring, analyzing the information, determining an initiation a performance of a waste disposing operation which is activated through a predetermined user action performed by a user based on the analyzing, and generating an initiation command based on the determining of the initiation. The auxiliary device initiates a performance of auxiliary operation which corresponds to a reward for the user based on the initiation command, and terminates the performance of the auxiliary operation based on the termination command. The performance of the auxiliary operation terminates after a completion of the performance of the auxiliary operation.
