TOOTH MODEL FOR TOOTH TREATMENT PRACTICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A tooth model for dental treatment practice is composed of a transparent material and includes a root canal in which a hollow neural tube is formed and a crown formed on top of the root canal, wherein a coating layer is formed inside the neural tube by applying a paint based on an opaque material to an inner surface of the neural tube, so as to show the neural tube formed inside the root canal to the outside.
VIRTUAL TEACHING SYSTEM FOR DENTAL PERIAPICAL X-RAY FILM, METHOD FOR ACQUIRING VIRTUAL PERIAPICAL X-RAY FILM, COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A virtual teaching system for a dental periapical X-ray film and a virtual periapical X-ray film acquisition method is provided. The system includes a workstation and a dental radiography machine. The dental radiography machine includes a mounting plate, a stand column, a head fixing device, a five-axis robotic arm, a bulb tube, and a seat; the stand column is disposed on the top side of the mounting plate, and the head fixing device and the seat are respectively fixed on the upper and lower portions of the stand column; and the five-axis robotic arm includes five joint modules and five connecting rods, and the two ends of the five-axis robotic arm are respectively connected to the top portion of the stand column and the bulb tube. The workstation is communicatively connected to the dental radiography machine.
Dental hygiene and periodontal hand instrumentation tutor
Dental hygiene and periodontal hand instrumentation requires alignment of the cutting surface of the instrument at a specific angle and adaptation to the tooth surface. A dental hygiene and periodontal hand instrumentation tutor provides an objective, consistent and accurate way to measure and display the actual angulation and adaptation angles of a periodontal hand instrument and assess instrument use continuously. The method includes detecting the position, orientation, motion path, pressure, angulation angle, adaptation angle, and centerline angle of a periodontal hand instrument and comparing them to ideal positions, orientations, and motion paths; and provides various forms of user feedback.
DENTAL MODEL COMPRISING A DETACHABLE TOOTH STUMP
The invention relates to a dental model (1) for dental-technical modeling having a model base (2) and having a tooth stump (4) that can be removed from the model base (2), the model base (2) having a receiving cavity (3) for receiving the tooth stump (4), the tooth stump (4) having a preparation section (5), the preparation section (5) being designed for the prosthetic reconstruction of a tooth and the shaft (6) being designed for insertion along an insertion direction into the receiving cavity (3), the model base (2) and/or the shaft (6) having an elastic positioning element for positioning the tooth stump (4) relative to the model base (2).
DENTAL SIMULATOR SYSTEM
An apparatus to support dental simulation, the apparatus including a torso to support a dental simulation manikin, an arm rotatably coupled to the torso, the torso rotatable along a first axis with respect to the arm, and a connector base to rotatably couple the arm to a hub portion, the connector base rotatable along a second axis, the second axis different than the first axis.
Guided operation of a language-learning device based on learned user memory characteristics
A personal electronic device is adapted to construct data tables from user input received over time relating to translations of translatable items from a first language to a second language. Entries in a data table for a user are dynamic and may indicate likelihoods of the user correctly translating translatable items as a function of time. Each translatable item may have a different time-dependent likelihood of a correct translation. Operation of the personal electronic device for a user may be based in part on the acquired, time-dependent likelihoods for that user, so that information may be presented to the user in a more efficient manner.
Method and apparatus for providing tooth-brushing guide information using augmented reality
A method of providing tooth-brushing guide information according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an operation in which a user terminal analyzes a captured image of a user, recognizes the face of the user, and identifies landmarks of the face; an operation in which the user terminal generates a personalized dental model of the user using the landmarks, an operation in which the user terminal provides a virtual dental image by augmented reality using the dental model; and an operation in which the user terminal provides tooth-brushing guide information using the dental model.
Anatomic apparatus and training system for remote and interactive hands-on surgical training for dentists
A training system for dental procedures having a training device and a self-assessment for use with the training device is described. The training device is printed with a 3D printer and includes a predetermined anatomic form of at least a portion of a human jaw structure and a predetermined anatomic form of at least one human tooth structure. Part of the printed human tooth structure is rooted in the printed human jaw structure, and both structures are designed to have at least one analogous physical property to their corresponding human structures. The self-assessment includes a pictorial array of procedural outcomes of a procedural step so that a user can identify which image in the pictorial array best represents the user's own procedural outcome of the procedural step performed by the user on the training device and at least one feedback instruction.
MODEL FOR PRE-PROCEDURE VERIFICATION OF DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN, PRE-PROCEDURE VERIFICATION INSTRUMENT OF DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MODEL FOR PRE-PROCEDURE VERIFICATION OF DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN, PRE-PROCEDURE VERIFICATION SYSTEM OF DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
A model includes a model main body, an opening defining portion, and a target model portion. A space is formed between the opening defining portion and the target model portion to allow visual recognition of a range present between the opening defining portion and the target model portion. The range includes a reachable range of the distal end of the procedural instrument from the opening defining portion toward the target model portion and a reachable range of the distal end of the procedural instrument from the opening defining portion in a teeth alignment direction and a direction intersecting the teeth alignment direction.
Animal dentistry training apparatus
An animal dentistry training and assessment apparatus comprising a sectioned artificial tooth, comprising a crown portion and a furcate root portion, the furcate root portion comprising a plurality of roots; and a base comprising a receiving portion configured to receive and releasably retain each root of the furcate root portion. The sectioned artificial tooth is sectioned into a plurality of sections comprising one or more but not all of said roots of the furcate root portion and part of the crown portion, the plurality of sections being contiguous when the sectioned artificial tooth is received in the receiving portion.
