Method for displaying electronic map, electronic device and readable storage medium
The present application discloses a method for displaying an electronic map, an electronic device and a readable storage medium, and relates to the technical field of electronic maps, intelligent transportation, automatic driving, artificial intelligence technologies, etc. The specific implementation scheme is: after receiving a downsizing instruction from an electronic device, a server generates second map data under a second scale according to first map data under a first scale, and obtains third map data by repairing the second map data according to a neighboring relation of map elements, and the third map data is configured to eliminate a crack between adjacent map elements in the plurality of map elements contained in the second map data. After receiving the third map data, the electronic device renders and displays the electronic map in the second scale.
PROGRESSIVE DISPLAY IN MULTI-ZOOM DIGITAL MAP
The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods to determine information to be displayed within a display of a map.
Uniform density cube map rendering for spherical projections
A cube map is used for determining the appearance of a surface by means of a precomputed texture image. Embodiments of the present invention are drawn computer systems and methods for rendering a spherical projection as a cube map that mitigates non-uniform pixel density near the edges of the cube map to avoid artifacts and increase rendering performance.
Interface for navigating imagery
A user interface for rotating imagery among a plurality of canonical views of a geographic area of interest is disclosed. The interface includes at least one rotation control icon for rotating the imagery among a plurality of canonical views of the geographic area, and a direction indicating portion that indicates a compass direction associated with the canonical view presented on the display device. In particular implementations, the interface can be configured to come into view over the imagery whenever a user navigates to a particular view of the imagery where a plurality of canonical views is available. The motion of the navigation control interface appearing into the imagery is intended to draw attention to the control interface to inform the user that additional canonical views are available.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ALTERNATIVE PROJECTIONS OF GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
A method is provided for determining angular relationships from a point of interest to a plurality of peripheral points of interest on a map. One or more cost functions from the point of interest to the plurality of the peripheral points of interest on the map are analyzed. A plurality of vectors emanating from the point of interest to the plurality of the peripheral points of interest on a different representation of the map are displayed. Another method is provided for identifying points of interest on a map. Regions of high interest are identified on the map. Regions of low interest are identified on the map. The regions of high interest are expanded on a different representation of the map. The regions of low interest are contracted by an amount proportional to an amount the regions of high interest are expanded on the different representation of the map.
Techniques for displaying augmentations that represent cadastral lines and other near-ground features
In one embodiment, an augmented reality application executing on an augmented reality device accesses a representation of the physical environment. The augmented reality application aligns information that describes near-ground features with the representation of the physical environment. After alignment, the augmented reality application generates an augmented reality view that is displayed on a display device by projecting the near-ground features onto the ground in the representation of the physical environment, generating a virtual plane above the ground that is parallel to the ground and separated therefrom by a distance, projecting the near-ground features onto the virtual plane above the ground, and showing an indicator of visual correspondence that connects at least a portion of the projection of near ground features on the ground and a corresponding portion of the projection of near-ground features on the virtual plane above the ground.
APPARATUS FOR BUILDING MAP USING MACHINE LEARNING AND IMAGE PROCESSING
An apparatus for building a map is disclosed. The apparatus for building a map according to the present invention includes a data collection unit configured to separately collect vector data and raster data, a vector data processing unit configured to generate ground-truth images of a previously set size by processing the vector data, a raster data processing unit configured to generate divided raster images of the set size by processing the raster data, and a polygon generation unit configured to generate predicted polygons through machine learning of the ground-truth images and the divided raster images and generate polygons which can be applied to map building based on the raster data on the basis of the predicted polygons and the ground-truth images.
Using visual distortion to emphasize targeted regions of data visualizations according to geodesic curves
This application is directed to modifying display of data visualizations. A computer system visualizes on its display a set of data in a first data space. A focus point is identified in the first data space and used as a starting point for constructing a set of geodesics, each of which is configured to connect the focus point to a respective data point in the first data space. A plurality of primary eigenvectors are determined in the first data space and they are used to create a second data space having fewer dimensions than the first data space. For each data point, the computer system determines a plurality of projection values associated with the primary eigenvectors. The set of data is re-visualized in the second data space created using the projection values of each data point.
Display control apparatus, information processing apparatus, display control method, program for display control, and recording medium
A display control apparatus enabling a desired item to be displayed with excellent visibility by means of a simple operation is provided. An interface 1 of a terminal apparatus SV acquires associated information in which an orientation of display on a display D, a moving direction of an operation position to a touch panel TP, and a display state on the display D controlled by movement of the operation position are associated with each other. The interface 1 also acquires direction information indicating the moving direction of the operation position. A control unit 3 controls the display state on the display D in accordance with the orientation of the display and the moving direction indicated by the direction information based on the associated information.
