System and method for an interactive digitally rendered avatar of a subject person
11582424 · 2023-02-14 · ·

A system and method for an interactive digitally rendered avatar of a subject person to participate in a web meeting is described. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving an invite to a web meeting on a video conferencing platform, wherein the invite identifies a subject person and the video conferencing platform. The method also includes generating an interactive avatar of the subject person based on a data collection associated with the subject person stored in a database. The method further includes instantiating a platform integrator associated with the video conferencing platform identified in the invite and joining, by the interactive avatar of the subject person, the web meeting on the video conferencing platform. The platform integrator transforms outputs and inputs between the video conferencing platform and an interactive digitally rendered avatar system so that the interactive avatar of the subject person participates in the web meeting.

A student terminal is for viewing a class given in a virtual space that is immersive. The student terminal includes: a VR function section configured to display the virtual space according to virtual space information; and an input section for receiving a video capturing a desk of a student who views the class. The VR function section extracts, from the video, an area including a top plate of the desk corresponding to a desk object in the virtual space, and performs image composition for fitting a video capturing the area onto a top plate of the desk object.

Classification of musculoskeletal form using machine learning model

An exercise feedback system receives exercise data such as images or video captured by client devices of users performing exercises. The exercise feedback system may access a machine learning model trained using image of a population of users. The images used for training may be labeled, for example, as having proper or improper musculoskeletal form. The exercise feedback system may determine a metrics describing the musculoskeletal form of a user by applying the trained machine learning model to images of the user as input features. The exercise feedback system may generate feedback for a certain exercise using the metrics based on output predictions of the model. The feedback can be provided to a client device of the user or a physical therapist for presentation.

Provided is a means for professors and tutors to easily queue and manage students in a video conference session during online office hours or similar scenarios in which the professor gives one student one-to-one attention while other students wait their turn but are able to listen. Students queue in order of arrival, transparency is provided to students so that they know where they are in the queue relative to other students, and provides students with real-time status updates, thus reducing frustration and making the experience of waiting and queuing more psychologically palatable and pleasant. There is a current student having a one-on-one session with the professor; the rest are waiting and listening in the queue. Further, the professor need only click one button in order to place the current student at the back of the queue and bring the next student in the queue into the one-on-one session. A virtual reality room also has a queue.

EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD

A method for displaying archived exercise classes comprising displaying information about archived exercise classes that can be accessed by a first user via a computer network on a display screen at a first location, wherein the first user can select among a plurality of archived classes, outputting digital video and audio content comprising the selected archived class, detecting a performance parameter for the first user at a particular point in the selected class, displaying the performance parameter on the display screen, and displaying performance parameters from a second user at a second location on the display screen such that at least one of the performance parameters from the first user and at least one of the performance parameters from the second user at the same point in the class are presented for comparison.
