EMBEDDED TARGET TRACKING TRAINING

The present invention relates to a method for embedded combat vehicle gun target tracking training performed at an electronic device, an electronic device for performing the method and a computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs for performing the method. The method comprises determining a trajectory of a virtual target for a period of time; determining an aim point location of the weapon system; displaying, on a display device, a first and second graphical object overlaid onto an image sequence, wherein the first graphical object represents an aim point location of the weapon system and wherein the second graphical object represents a virtual target which moves along the determined trajectory. User inputs are received representative of control signals for causing weapon system movements and the second graphical object is updated based on the weapon system movements.

Driving analysis and instruction device

A racing coach device stores a first path of travel along a racetrack over a first time period and a second path of travel along the racetrack over a second time period. The racing coach device identifies, for each of a plurality of geolocations along the racetrack, one of the first path of travel or the second path of travel that is associated with a shorter duration of time over which the user traversed a segment of the path of travel associated with each of the plurality of geolocations. The device determines an optimal path of travel along the racetrack based on the identified first and second path of travel for each segment of the path of travel at each of the plurality of geolocations that results in a calculated lap time to traverse the racetrack that is less than the first time period and the second time period.

COMPUTER-AIDED METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PREDICTING SPEEDS FOR VEHICLES ON THE BASIS OF PROBABILITY

The invention relates to a computer-aided method for generating a drive cycle for a vehicle which is suitable for simulating a driving operation, in particular a real driving operation. The computer-aided method comprises establishing a state vector of the drive cycle for a current time interval from a past speed curve, providing an acceleration prediction model, determining an acceleration value in consideration of probabilities resulting from the acceleration prediction model and the state vector, integrating the determined acceleration value over the current time interval in order to obtain a predicted speed value for a next future time interval, and appending the predicted speed value to the past speed curve in order to generate the drive cycle. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for generating a drive cycle for a vehicle which is suitable for simulating a driving operation, in particular a real driving operation, and means for establishing a state vector of the drive cycle for a current time interval from a past speed curve, means for determining an acceleration value in consideration of probabilities resulting from the acceleration prediction model and the state vector, means for integrating the determined acceleration value over the current time interval in order to obtain a predicted speed value for a next future time interval, and means for appending the predicted speed value to the past speed curve in order to generate the drive cycle.

Test stand and method for carrying out a test

Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to test stands for generating test runs on the basis of a test drive using a vehicle along a driving route. In some embodiments, a test stand determines at least one idle operating time of an internal combustion engine and/or at least one overrun operating time of the internal combustion engine from a time curve of a vehicle speed and a time curve of a gas pedal position. The test stand may further set a specified idle control mode instead of the operating control mode during an idle operating time and/or a specified overrun control mode is set instead of the operating control mode during an overrun operating time in the test stand automation unit in order to carry out the test run.

An apparatus for coaching improvements for a performer during a performance activity based on observed actual performance in comparison to a possible performance, with sensors measuring performance criteria. A microprocessor computer creates respective pseudo-measurements relevant to the performance activity based on the measurements, which are normalized and evaluated as to proximity to a possible performance value. A display presents the measured actual performance in relation to the possible performance, so the performer may change actions and observe on the display the effect of the change. A method of coaching performer during a performance activity is disclosed.
