Affective, behavioral, and cognitive processes data collection
Systems and methods are provided for the design and implementation of experiments that facilitate the investigation of process data. The experiments involve recording the completion of a task by participants and then playing back the video of task completion to automatically probe participants about their affective, behavioral, and cognitive experiences. As a result of this system, information about affective, behavioral, and cognitive processes can be more easily investigated by researchers without computer programming knowledge. Corresponding apparatuses, systems, and methods are also discussed.

A system may include a virtual reality system configured to present one or more virtual objects via an electronic display. The system may also include one or more inflatable objects that correspond to the one or more virtual objects, such that the one or more inflatable objects matches one or more shapes of the one or more virtual objects. The system may also include a processor configured to cause at least one of the one or more inflatable objects to inflate based on feedback from the virtual reality system.
TRAINING DEVICE AND TRAINING SEAT FOR KITE SURFING AND METHOD THEREOF
A training device having a platform for receiving at least one person; at least one anchoring point for fastening a securing means that secures the person on the training device; a vertical rotation axis Z, about which the training device can be mounted rotatably or is mounted rotatably. The anchoring point is arranged at or above the height of the buttocks region of the person, and the training device is rotatable about this rotary axis Z by means of forces acting on the platform.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INCORPORATING PNEUMATIC ROBOTIC SYSTEMS INTO AMUSEMENT PARK ATTRACTIONS
A system may include an inflatable assembly having a plurality of members. The system may also include a plurality of sensors disposed at a plurality of positions inside or around the inflatable assembly, such that the plurality of sensors may acquire data related to a shape of the inflatable assembly. The system also includes one or more valves, each configured to direct a fluid into a corresponding member of the plurality of members of the inflatable assembly. The system also includes a processor that adjusts positions of the one or more valves to cause the fluid to be directed into the corresponding member of the plurality of members of the inflatable assembly based on the data and a desired shape of the inflatable assembly.
EFFICIENT CREATION OF COMPUTER-GENERATED FORCE (CGF) ENTITIES USING FREQUENCY RESPONSE MATRICES
Disclosed is a method of efficiently generating a computer-generated forces (CGF) entity that includes a simulated external vehicle within an interactive computer simulation that is displayed within an interactive simulation environment by an interactive computer simulation station. The method entails creating an array of state-space model structures having initially unknown parameters that, once known, will define a linearized approximation of a non-linear model of the simulated external vehicle, generating frequency response matrices by exciting each input-output relationship of the non-linear model of the simulated external vehicle at a plurality of trim conditions using very short Gaussian pulses, wherein the frequency response matrices define a plurality of linear equations, calculating the parameters by solving the linear equations of the frequency response matrices to thereby provide an array of state-space models that defines the linearized approximation of the non-linear model, and using the array of state-space models to generate the CGF entity.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A CONTROL STATION
A system and method for remote control of a mobile device is provided herein. The system includes a primary receiver for providing primary command and control of the mobile device; a secondary receiver for providing secondary command and control of the mobile device; the mobile device configured to respond to command and control signals sent by any of the primary receiver and the secondary receiver; and a relay platform for relaying the command and control signals throughout the system. The primary receiver may include an extended reality component.
Accelerated Learning, Entertainment and Cognitive Therapy Using Augmented Reality Comprising Combined Haptic, Auditory, and Visual Stimulation
A plurality of first sensory cues are generated capable of being perceived by a user. Each first sensory cue of the plurality of first sensory cues is dependent on a position of at least one body member of a performer relative to a performance element of a performance object with which an event is performed. The plurality of first sensory cues being effective for stimulating a first processing center of a brain of the user. A plurality of visual sensory cues are generated capable of being displayed to the user on a video display device. The visual sensory cues providing a virtual visual indication to the user of the position of the at least one body member. The visual sensory cues being effective for stimulating the visual processing center of the brain of the user. The visual sensory cues being synchronized with the first sensory cues so that the position of the at least one body member is virtually visually indicated in synchronization with the first sensory cue and so that the visual processing center is stimulated with a visual sensory cue in synchronization with a first sensory cue stimulating the first processing center. The synchronized stimulation of the first processing center and the visual processing center is effective for teaching the user to perform a version of the event.
