An information panel or display panel suitable for mounting onto the top of a vehicle is disclosed. Information such as advertisement can be change automatically. Change of advertisement content is responsive to the speed of the vehicle.

There is disclosed a transformative display that, in a first configuration, appears as a first scene. A mechanism is provided to cause elements of the display to move from the first configuration to a second configuration, displaying a second, different scene. The elements are in the form of panels that fit into recesses in a platform in the first configuration. These panels may include features that extend above the surface of the platform to form other elements of the first scene. When the display moves to the second configuration, the panels swing upward from the platform, creating elements of the second scene.
