Display device
A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a base display panel, a back cover supporting a rear portion of the base display panel, sliding frames sliding with respect to the back cover, a driving unit configured to drive the sliding frames to slide, and a rollable display panel being extendable in response to the sliding of the sliding frames. The rollable display panel can be extended as needed by a user when widescreen images are displayed.
Interchangeable display assembly
A lighted display assembly for an appliance includes interchangeable display screens. Multiple light sources flash, turn on and turn off to indicate a status of the appliance by illuminating a selected one of the display screens. A display grid extends continuously between the light sources and the selected display screen and defines light passages that are each uniquely associated with one or more corresponding light sources. Light emitted by each light source is confined to a discrete area of the display screen by the corresponding light passage. The discrete areas of the interchangeable display screens may include any of a variety of markings, for example, markings in a different language. The assemblies may be tailored to the needs of a particular customer by selecting an appropriate display screen.
Reconfigurable lighted mailbox post
A reconfigurable lighted post (e.g., mailbox), including a post, and first and second dual channel members attached to the post. The dual channel members include dual channels, where the first channel of each houses a strip of LEDs, and the second channel defines a channel into which an insert to be back or trans-illuminated can be inserted. Both dual channel members are attached to the post so that the first channels housing the strips of LEDs are positioned towards the post, while the second channels are positioned away from the post. The insert to be illuminated is receivable between the second channels (i.e., that face one another). The insert may include a house address number, or other characters cut-out or otherwise formed into the insert, so that light from the LED strips back or trans-illuminates the insert when received between the facing second channels. Deck rail lighting is also disclosed.
Illuminated sign apparatus with a hue insert
A sign apparatus includes a front panel and a rear panel secured to the front panel. The rear panel includes a back portion, a side portion, and a rim. The side portion has an illumination panel step disposed between the back portion and the rim and the illumination panel step is configured to support a hue insert to modify one or more visible characteristics of light emitted by a light source. A cavity is defined between the rear panel and the front panel, and the hue insert is disposed within the cavity.
Privacy Window System
A privacy window that provides three distinct benefits simultaneously and under all lighting conditions. First, the privacy window allows natural light to pass through a translucent portion and enter a room. Second, the privacy window allows an observer inside the room to observe the environment immediately outside of the room. Third, the privacy window prevents an observer outside of the room from observing details within the room through the privacy window.
System and method for controlling amount of light emitting from illuminating screen
A system and method for controlling amount of light emitting from an illuminating screen including: a frame defining a space, a screen mounted onto a front side of said frame, a back plate mounted onto a back side of the frame, opposite the front side, at least one light source and a concealing element. The at least one light source is positioned within the space defined by the frame and is configured to illuminate the screen. The concealing element is located inside the space defined by the frame and is configured to block light from illuminating the screen. The amount of light emitting through the screen is controlled by a ratio between the area of the concealing element positioned in a section located between the at least one light source and the screen, and the total area of the section.

A display device includes a base structure, a plurality of modules coupled to the base structure, where each of the modules include a plurality of actuator assemblies. Each of the actuator assemblies is individually controllable to move the actuator assemblies between a retracted state and a plurality of extended states. A controller is coupled to each of the modules and is programmed to control the actuator assemblies to move the actuator assemblies between the retracted state and the plurality of extended states.
Systems and methods for decorative illumination
A rain gutter illumination system having a cover for attaching to a rain gutter with an aperture along the substantial length of the cover, and opposing recesses for retaining a decorative insert. When the decorative insert is inserted in the cover, it is held in place by the recesses, and a light source and optional diffusing panel may be arranged in the cover so that the light source projects light through the aperture of the illuminable surface. The light source may be remotely controllable using a wireless remote control device, such as a smart phone over a network connection.
