A system and method are disclosed for a lamp that includes a unit having a slit. The slit receives various inserts that allow the lamp to adapt in appearance for changing the décor of a room and/or provide information to a user in proximity to the lamp.

Internally illuminable playing cards are disclosed. The disclosed playing cards may include a polymeric body, at least one light-emitting diode (LED) at least partially inside of the polymeric body, a battery (or a slot in the polymeric body for receiving a battery) for providing power to the at least one LED, and a switch at least partially inside the polymeric body and operatively connected to the at least one LED to facilitate turning the at least one LED on and off. As can be understood based on this disclosure, the internally illuminable playing cards can be used for flourishing and cardistry techniques, in a manner similar to the way typical paper playing cards are used for such techniques.

An outer wall of the fixed profile is fixed with a light bar including an adhesive layer, a soft base layer adhesively connected to the fixed profile by the adhesive layer, and an LED bead SMD fixed on the soft base layer. An outer wall of the first silicone strip abuts the transparent film. A second silicone strip is adhered to the bending portion of an outer wall of the transparent film. A light guide plate guides light from a light source to form an image in a space, and includes a light introduction portion and a light emitting portion. Light from the light source is incident on the light introduction portion. The light emitting portion includes a curved emission surface that emits light from the light source incident from the light introduction portion, and is bent and connected to the light introduction portion.
