Label sticker

A label sticker includes a release layer strip, an attachment layer strip and a label layer strip. The attachment layer strip is made of an artificial dressing material and its lower surface is coated with or adhered to a first glue layer. The lower surface of the attachment layer strip is attached to the upper surface of the release layer strip through the first glue layer. The label layer strip is made of a waterproof material and its lower surface is coated with or adhered to a second glue layer. The lower surface of the label layer strip is attached to the upper surface of the attachment layer strip through the second glue layer. The label sticker, to be adhered to the human skin to serve identification purposes, can be manufactured by mass production but is unlikely to be wetted and smeared.

Self-expiring identification bands and methods of use thereof

A self-expiring band structure is activated upon the contacting of two chemical constituents together. This contacting may be performed by the attachment action of the band or independently thereof. After a time duration has passed, the coaction of the chemical constituents result in a visually perceptible change can alert others to the fact the band has expired. These bands may be both printable, such as by a printer or other machine printing, as well as time-expiring making them a very versatile product that offer heightened security at the price point closer to that of a disposable item because they do not require complex infrastructure for validation.

A Label for Identifying an Object, A Precursor of the Label, A Method of Reading the Label, and a Method of Manufacturing the Label

The invention relates to a label (30) for identifying an object, the label comprising a plurality of layers (L.sub.1, L.sub.2, L.sub.3), wherein each layer comprises a matrix material (15), and each layer comprises a plurality of identifier elements (10, 11); the plurality of identifier elements (10, 11) are dispersed in the matrix material (15), and the plurality of layers (L) are arranged so that at least two layers at least partially overlap each other. Further, the invention relates to a precursor of a label (30) for identifying an object and a method of manufacturing a label (30) for identifying an object.

Peel-able, tamper-evident security label for concealing information

A visual-information security system that includes an information security label positioned to conceal visual information on a substrate. The information security label may include a spiral-shaped cut (or other complex shape) within the body of the label and a pull-tab, such that when a user pulls on the tab, the label peels off of the substrate in a spiral pattern, revealing the information concealed beneath the label. The complex-shaped cut makes reapplication of the label difficult and evident, thus providing security to consumers. The label may include multiple layers of material, for example, a peel-off layer and an adhesive layer.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to a scratch away labeling system for a package, for instance a gift bag. In an embodiment, the scratch away system integrates into a package by replacing an aperture cut into a package with a single use, scratch away surface, and then covering the surface with a peel-away film to preserve the surface prior to intended use.

CUSTOMIZABLE CRYPTOCURRENCY CARD

A physical card (in some cases without any on-board source of power or computing capabilities) is configured to maintain access information for digital bearer assets. A unique identifier visible on the card may be transmitted to a server-system to utilize functionalities corresponding to the card (e.g., based on information associated with the unique identifier) on a decentralized computing platform, like a blockchain-based decentralized computing platform. Private access information, like a secret, private key that corresponds to a public key (e.g., a public-private key-pair) or a representation of the private key (like a ciphertext thereof) and corresponding encryption key, may be physically concealed with tamper-evident components such that a user can readily determine whether the private access information was divulged. In some examples, a user is required to activate one or more tamper-evident features, thereby altering a visible state of the card, to utilize functionalities corresponding to the card.

IMAGE DISPLAY ELEMENT AND DRAWING BODY
20230144301 · 2023-05-11 ·

An image display element includes a display layer configured to display first to n-th (where n is an integer of 2 or more) images; a light-shielding pattern layer disposed opposite to the display layer and having alternately disposed light-shielding parts and light-transmitting parts, and a transparent layer disposed between the display layer and the light-shielding pattern layer. The display layer contains a coloring matter, where the coloring matter forms first to n-th images; each of the first to n-th images is divided in a discrete manner corresponding to the arrangement pattern of the light-transmitting parts; and an image visible through the light-shielding pattern layer changes depending on the angle from which the light-shielding pattern layer is viewed.

LABELING ELEMENT FOR ITEMS

The present invention relates to a labeling element for items, which on a surface thereof is formed with a plurality of pixels with periodic lattice structures, in particular linear lattice structures. Lattice structures with in each case one structural period A and an alignment of the structural elements, which are aligned to one another in particular in a linear parallel manner, at an angle φ with respect to an axis of reference are formed in individual pixels such that when the pixels constituting the labeling element are irradiated with electromagnetic radiation, preferably monochromatic electromagnetic radiation, an image of the labeling element is created on an detector array or a surface, by means of images of at least one order of diffraction of the electromagnetic radiation diffracted by pixels which can be used for identification of the respective labeling element.

METHOD OF DETECTING A CONCEALED PATTERN

A method for detecting a component including a concealed pattern includes: detecting infrared electromagnetic radiation reflected or emitted by a component including a first pattern, the component including: a substrate; the first pattern disposed over at least a portion of the substrate; an optional primer layer disposed between at least a portion of the substrate and at least a portion of the first pattern; and a first visibly opaque layer including an infrared transparent pigment, the first visibly opaque layer disposed over at least a portion of the first pattern; and comparing the reflectivity and/or absorbance of infrared electromagnetic radiation by the first pattern at one wavelength to the reflectivity and/or absorbance by the primer layer and/or the substrate at the same wavelength.
